Which statistic? I've seen a '-1' response on estimated wait time many times
in the past, I always assumed it was just because sufficient calls (in my case,
probably none since it was a lab) had gone through the system for it to
calculate a metric to report… but I have no idea if that's what was really
happening or not.

You will only ever see -1 returned due to providing an invalid CSQ name
to the get reporting statistics step.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] uccx script : get reporting statistics playing negative value

2013-07-11 Thread Joshua Kittle
Not in my experience I can with lots of certainty say that I've seen it
when doing a reactive debug on a just- published script, and then after a few
calls, observed it turn into a positive integer. This was on an 8.5 cluster.
I'm certain it wasn't an invalid CSQ name... That said, I don't fully
understand everything that plays into it.

Would be worthwhile to play with some more. I disclaim any expertise, just
sharing what I've seen :)

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] UCCX script problem

2012-12-23 Thread Tanner Ezell
I need to write a UCCX script that will transfer calls to available agent
based on longest idle time.

This is configured on the CSQ via the UCCX Admin interface.

 if a phone user is requesting some time to end a call then during during
this period he should
be marked NOT READY.

Enable after call work also on the CSQ configuration page.

 Please elaborate a simple procedure to achieve the above. Is there any
 default script that can be modified?

You can take the default icd and then

Create a menu in the begin with the desire prompt then add a redirect number

If they don’t press anything in the menu prompt then they will go to the queue

Hi,

you just need to upload the right prompt file, then your requirement is
done via a menu step, use the thank you prompt as the menu prompt, on the
menu branch 1, use the consult transfer step to the DN 9001, this should
be all I believe.

DN can be statically configure inside the consul transfer or you may use a
string variable.

CRS documentation should inform customers by means of a warning note

The script will not show up unless you load it via GUI, also you should
always refresh the script and/or app when changing the script. The GUI will
not allow you to upload a duplicate script as the defaults are in a custom
directory that you cannot save to via the GUI. So you will not run into
that problem but i would highly recommend changing the name so you know
which one is the custom scripts

 I saw somebody told GUI upload may cause appadmin service go to partial

 One TAC Engineer told me to always upload script using GUI.

 Thanks

Did you verify that all CTI ports are associated with the JTAPI user? (also

Also did you make JTAPI Resynch? As well as the Data Synch?

What module does not come up? CRS Engine? Or maybe there is other Module

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] UCCX Script Question

2010-11-09 Thread givemeccievoice2010
For the first question - You need to either record a prompt in CUC or CUE,
upload to UCCX, and then use the Play Prompt step to play to the caller.
Then use the Terminate step and go to the end of the script using a label.

For the second question - Once again record the prompt and upload. After
that you can either create a new Play Prompt step and delete the old for the
Queue Prompt Prompt variable (I assume you are using ICD) or just change
the value of the Queue Prompt variable.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

Hi,

I have created a fairly complex script for a customer, and the only part I
can't test yet is the queueing. I have attached a screenshot of what happens
when a call is queued. Can anyone see any reason why this wouldn't work. The
script has been validated, and we are about to add some resources to the CSQs,
I'm just wondering if I could have missed anything here? The idea is that
roughly every 15 second the user gets a prompt to say a customised hold
message, then they get another to say where they are in the queue, and then
another to say the estimated wait time. If they are 10th or more in the queue,
there is no prompt for the wait time but the other two should play.

Anyone see any problems with this??

Thanks in advance

The script looks good to me, but I haven't verified it in a lab. I
couldn't determine from your email if there was an actual problem with
the script or not. When you loaded it and ran tests, did you observe
any unexpected behavior?

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] UCCX script question

2010-03-25 Thread Cristobal Priego
Hello Tanner,
I have a question. I know I'm doing something wrong. when the call is sent
to the agent. on the Data Field part. I see ANI, DNIS, Layout (default)

what I'm trying to do is, based on the called number i will make a
comparison in a loop, when i find a match in the script based on the called
number, i want to set a variable with a name. then i would like the agent to
be able to see ANI, DNIS and the customized name on the Data Field.

i'd like to do something like this

Called Number = 2003

if (DNIS == 2001 )
   {
  Customer =  Safeway
  }
else if (DNIS== 2002)
  {
  Customer = Raleys
}
else if (DNIS == 2003)
{
  Customer = SafeMart
}

then I'd like the agent to see on the Data field when the phone is ringing
on the agent

ANI = 408-123-4567
DNIS = 2003
Customer = SafeMart

I don't know or I can't get the last part to work

I have enhanced license on my uccx version 5.0.2.

on the desktop administrator under Enterprise Data Configuration
 I created my field list:
 0  customer
and layout list:
 Customer : ANI, DNIS, Customer, user.layout

i went to workflow groups agents key accounts work flow,
on the event Ringing Action I only have these options: Run Macro, Call
Control, Launch External App, Agent state, Utility Action
and i don't know what to do

how do i get this to work ?

thanks

2010-03-25 Thread Tanner Ezell
I'd have to check, but I don't believe the ECC fields are populated in
CAD while the phone is ringing. Only after.

Aside from that, you must use the Set Enterprise Info step, make sure
the field is added to the default layout of the agent and you'll be
set.

---

I just re-read what you posted, and it sounds like you created another
layout list, if that is correct you must specify it with the Set
Enterprise Info step, or add it to the default layout.

 to
 be able to see ANI, DNIS and the customized name on the Data Field.

 i'd like to do something like this

 Called Number = 2003

 if (DNIS == 2001 )
   {
  Customer =  Safeway
  }
 else if (DNIS== 2002)
  {
  Customer = Raleys
 }
 else if (DNIS == 2003)
 {
  Customer = SafeMart
 }

 then I'd like the agent to see on the Data field when the phone is
 ringing
 on the agent

 ANI = 408-123-4567
 DNIS = 2003
 Customer = SafeMart

 Control, Launch External App, Agent state, Utility Action
 and i don't know what to do

 how do i get this to work ?

 thanks

 The document was sent to the list, but apparently has yet to be
 approved (apparently no one pays attention?).

 The document can be found here:

 As an aside, you may want to consider the IP of the person who created
 the document before you start passing it around :)

 Are you concerned about your intellectual property rights, or will you
 share it with all of us? :)

 We won't get mad if you want to keep it private, but just suggesting.

 Eh?

 I've attached a document I developed which explains everything you
 need to get information from the script to the CAD software.

 i know I'm not understanding something properly. Can I do a Get

 Add a new variable to the work flow

 Use the set enterprise call info step to pass the variable along.
