I have a client who's about to decide to make the leap to the 21st

It's a while since I did it, and I've forgotten all the things that

a reinstall was much more successful and i think i see the problem. i was using quotes in the path to mod_jrun20.so .. maybe that was the problem? maybe not. in any event its working now.

Thanks for the replys,
I intend to load some fairly simple stuff straight out of the database which on the whole won't require any processing, so a server re-start shouldn't be too serious. My host uses MX6.1.

Curious.

you can do this by simply running the apache shell script located here:

I have been using qForms from www.pengoworks.com for awhile now. It is a
great, cross browser API for this type of stuff.
You don't have to use query results with it per se, but you create
structures (JS) to relate elements, etc. Gimme a hollar off list if you
need a hand with it.

select query + cfloop + insert query
or
stored procedure using a cursor to do row by row inserts
The select query will never return more than 12 rows.
I'm running an Oracle 9i database on Win2K server. Everything works
fine, until I connect to it with ColdFusion (6.1 with the updater).
After the CF request completes, the Oracle TNS Listeners service in
Windows shuts down. No warning, no error, no explanation. Has anyone
else seen or heard of this
Like Doug said, you can use the Cistom1 and Custom2 to pass along special
values when you index your information. You can also use the StartROw and
MaxRows attributes of the CFSearch tag to display a certain number of
records per page
Say 10 per page
.
Colleciont=MyCol
look at using teh custom1 and custom2 attributes of the cfindex tag.
You can associate custom fields to datapoints this way. Show us your
cfindex code and maybe we can suggest how. Are you indexing a query
or files?
