Hi,
1. It seems so from the insider information I saw.
2. Only for a limited period. I took the CF 5 Exam just before the CFMX
release and got a 1 year validation.
3. Don't know of one
4. Wait - unless you have a really good reason for wanting it now.

I would not take the CF certification at all. I have did it once, and
the difficulty was very low, I rushed through the examination, and yes I
made an error but that was more less boredom than difficulty.
Besides, a CF certification doesn't have real value over here, maybe it
does have any weight

Well since were all being opinionated ill speak along
the same lines as Simon.
I do not believe in tests such as the Allaire Certification,
MCSE, Brainbenc, Multiple guess tests, plain and simple.
A test like this will do very little to gauge anything as
you guys have mentioned but your ability
e in thinking & knowledge on
the given subjects at hand but like you said doesnt illustrate that you can
write good code.

One thing to keep in mind is that everyone who has taken the exam is under a
non-disclosure agreement with regards to the exam. While a high level
overview of the areas to study is reasonable, going much further than
o things I found a little irritating.
Whats best for you might not be best for me.
Just my 2 cents of course...

The test is easy enough, especially considering you only need 60%. Many of
the questions are ambiguous so if you are not sure you can get a decent
amount wrong. If you've been coding for about a year or two and are
familiar with the majority of CF tags you'll be fine. Look over th

definitely study up on structures, arrays, and all the other advanced data
