Hi John,
So you never see the error but others do? How often does this happen? What
is your configuration (os, database, etc)?

Hi,
To my knowledge, Laszlo doesn't publish their pricing for the full featured
version of their software.

Hi John,
The jrun closed connection error is not cut and dry, it can be caused by a
number of things. I just finished writing a technote about this topic, here
is the preliminary text that will probably change through the edit cycle:
The JRun Closed Connection error is caused by an issue
Hi John,
Is the user you have created part of the local administrator's group? We
suggest they are. Also, if you start the services from the command line you
will see a more descriptive error. You can use:
net start Cold Fusion Application Server
net start ColdFusion Executive
net start
was The
service could not be started. The service did not report an error
Any other ideas?

Hi
You'll want to review the CFML Language History that covers what changed with each version: http://www.macromedia.com/support/coldfusion/ts/documents/cfmlhistory.htm http://www.macromedia.com/support/coldfusion/ts/documents/cfmlhistory.htm

Hi Tim,
I'll admit that this is a little confusing, especially if you read on of our documents that states Red Hat Linux 7.2, 7.3, 8.0, 9, AS ES 2.1, AS ES 3.0** **Verity does not support these OS's... I was also unclear about this and my inclination was to originally say it was not supported.
Hi Tony,
Is the web server definitely running? If so, I'm not entirely sure why it
isn't detecting it but you could install with the built-in web server and
then manually configure CFMX to use IIS:
