Ok I did say correct me if I am wrong, and you did do that:-)
What I got confused with was the road map said business and made the
assumption of the server being released first. I think that is interesting
that businesses will get Vista before the average folk, wonder what
marketing strategy M$ h

Its great to see people who have the time to do this stuff and find out what
works and what doesn't.

Vista will be out at least 6 months before Windows Server 2007
(currently slated as 2H 2007), and Vista's IIS7 won't be a "crippled"

That said
Why would they even bother putting effort into getting it to work on a
desktop machine. It is server software after all.
Until a new windows server OS comes out, I would not be holding my breath
for Adobe to be doing any work to get the installer to work on Vista.

Hiya
Anyone know if previous presentations are available online somewhere? Im
guessing the breeze files can be played back later. The last CF presentation

Any thoughts?

Mark,
Ok your points are valid, and serious I mean that you would be more aware
that as Windows Vista is in Beta it is best not to even try to get this to
work, but hey if you do that's good.
My experience with Macromedia/adobe is simple at best, I know that they

Sounds like the installer is not compatible with Vista. You could try:

Andrew,
Ok so let me get this straight. What your implying is:
a)Because I'm trying to do something new/different, I'm not a
serious developer (despite holding that position for the last 8 1/2
years)
b)I didn't use VS/VPC/VMware etc, so I failed to take the smartest
route. Despite alrea
