The readership is wondering if such intervention is in place now, and to what extent, as it is now the Bush Administration that is war mongering, ambitious, and without care of injury or deprivation to the populace of the world, save themselves, the narrow little group of power mongers in the White House. At present, no nuclear incident appears likely on the horizon, and thus no intervention is scheduled. This intervention can be very quickly arranged, by human terms, as the Council of Worlds does not need sleep nor have rigid rules about scheduling order, and priority issues get moved quickly in front of the Council. Key Tea Party leaders remain silent on racism
Join us in forcing them to confront racism, or admit the Tea Party is a home
for it:

Since Friday, more than 35,000 of you have demanded that Tea Party leadership
act after one of the movement's most prominent leaders, Mark Williams, attacked
the NAACP with a racist blog post and several offensive statements.1,2 Under
pressure on Sunday, the National Tea Party Federation sent a Black spokesperson
on TV to announce that it had cut ties with Williams, and his group, the Tea
Party Express.3
It's a step in the right direction, but it's clearly not enough. The Tea Party
leaders you'd actually recognize, people like Sarah Palin and Dick Armey, have
stayed silent or denied that any racism exists in their ranks.4 And there's
been no attempt to tackle the systemic problem of racism within the Party.
It's time for leadership to speak up.
If the Tea Party is serious about not being a home for racism there are two
things all its leaders and groups must do now:
Publicly make clear that Mark Williams and the bigotry he stands for aren't
welcome in the Tea Party movement
Adopt a clear policy stating that racist and bigoted rhetoric and imagery will
not be tolerated — by leaders, groups, or candidates — and will result in
expulsion from Tea Party organizations
You can help us force the hand of Tea Party leaders by calling on them to come
out of the shadows and speak up. They need to make a choice — get serious about
confronting the racism in their movement, or show, with their inaction, that
they welcome and rely on bigotry as a part of their movement.

While it's important to acknowledge that one group, the Tea Party Federation,
met part of our demands on Sunday, the reality is that they did it in the most
cynical way possible. When they dropped Williams, they refused to acknowledge
the fact that Williams went unchallenged as a key leader after he called the
President an Indonesian Muslim turned welfare thug5 — or after one of many
other racist rants.6 They tried to downplay Williams' role in the movement and
maintained that there was no pattern of racism or bigotry in their movement.
How it started
On Tuesday of last week, the NAACP passed a resolution calling on the Tea Party
to denounce the racist elements within its ranks, a bold and important move.7
On Thursday, Mark Williams of the Tea Party Express (one of the movement's most
prominent leaders) responded by publishing a blog post full of nasty racist
stereotypes about Black people.8 On Friday, thousands of ColorOfChange members
took action to back up the NAACP and demand that Tea Party leaders expel
Williams, and what he represents, from their movement.9
On Sunday, the National Tea Party Federation (one of several national Tea Party
groups) banished Williams and the Tea Party Express, but they refused to take
responsibility for confronting this element of their movement, and have
continued to attack the NAACP for raising the issue in the first place.10
Meanwhile, the Tea Party Express is defending Williams, refusing to remove him
from their leadership, and attacking the Tea Party Federation as an
illegitimate group that doesn't really represent the Tea Party.11
For the Tea Party movement to show that it's serious about confronting the
racism within its ranks, prominent Tea Party leaders need to denounce Williams
and the bigotry he represents, and they need to make themselves publicly
accountable for purging racism from their movement.
It's time to give the Tea Party a choice — speak up and act, or make clear that
the Tea Party is a home for racists and racism. You can help make that happen.

Former NO Cop Admits Coverup In Katrina Danziger Bridge Murders of innocent Blacks NEW ORLEANS — A former New Orleans police officer told federal authorities he saw a fellow officer shoot and kick unarmed, wounded civilians in a deadly incident on a bridge in Hurricane Katrina's aftermath, marking the first time an officer has provided federal authorities with an eyewitness account of the events. The former officer, Michael Hunter, pleaded guilty Wednesday to helping cover up the shootings on the Danziger Bridge less than a week after the August 2005 storm. A court filing Wednesday that describes Hunter's account of the shootings contradicts a police report that said civilians shot at officers before the police opened fire, killing two people and wounding four others. Seeing no danger to officers, Hunter says he shouted Cease fire! after an unidentified sergeant with an assault rifle and other officers opened fire on a group of unarmed civilians who took cover behind a concrete barrier on the bridge. Dear Group, Since Obama decided to run for US president, in my little Oklahoma town of 40,000 people, I have sold over 2,300 Obama slickers and buttons. Usually, almost every patron would ask me; did I think that somebody would assassinate him? Of course, at first, I did have somewhat the same fear, but after I factored everything that I knew and believed into the equation, I begin telling everyone who believed or considered assassination a possibility, that there was NO WAY that Obama had made this monumental decision to run for president without Providence being behind him and the primary catalyst. In 1980, California had a prison population of about 24,000 in a state of 24 million. Today we have an inmate population of 172,000 out of 36 million people. This means that since 1980, our population has grown by 50% while our prison population has grown 617%. Each year, approximately 70 percent of those released from California prisons commit another offense, resulting in the highest recidivism rate in the nation. These repeat offenses are preventable crimes that claim more victims and harm communities' quality of life. It costs on average more than $10,000 to prosecute just one felony case, and about $47,000 per year to house each inmate in prison. Every time an inmate is released and commits a new crime, local and state jurisdictions pay those costs over and over again. Most importantly, individuals and communities pay the highest price when they are re-victimized by crime. To keep our communities safe and use public money wisely, we must insist that people coming out of the criminal justice system become productive citizens and stay out. They get trained for a job, go back to school, get current with child support, enroll in parenting classes, and become positive contributors in their communities. The program encompasses swift sanctions for making bad choices and clear incentives for good ones. As a result, less than 10 percent of Back on Track graduates have re-offended compared to a 54 percent recidivism rate statewide for a comparable population of offenders. We have achieved this success at a fraction of the cost of traditional corrections approaches. After all, we've heard enough yammerin' in the past three decades about how one should behave, and I have to say I'm pretty burned out on pieties and platitudes considering we are a violent nation who invades other countries and punishes our own for having the audacity to fall on hard times. I'm also against any proselytizing; I certainly don't want you to join anything I belong to. Also, as a Catholic, I have much to say about the Church as an institution, but I'll leave that for another day (or movie). Amidst all the Wall Street bad guys and corrupt members of Congress exposed in Capitalism: A Love Story, I pose a simple question in the movie: Is capitalism a sin? I go on to ask, Would Jesus be a capitalist? Would he belong to a hedge fund? Would he sell short? Would he approve of a system that has allowed the richest 1% to have more financial wealth than the 95% under them combined? I have come to believe that there is no getting around the fact that capitalism is opposite everything that Jesus (and Moses and Mohammed and Buddha) taught. All the great religions are clear about one thing: It is evil to take the majority of the pie and leave what's left for everyone to fight over. Jesus said that the rich man would have a very hard time getting into heaven. He told us that we had to be our brother's and sister's keepers and that the riches that did exist were to be divided fairly. He said that if you failed to house the homeless and feed the hungry, you'd have a hard time finding the pin code to the pearly gates. I guess that's bad news for us Americans. Here's how we define Blessed Are the Poor: We now have the highest unemployment rate since 1983. There's a foreclosure filing once every 7.5 seconds. 14,000 people every day lose their health insurance. At the same time, Wall Street bankers (Blessed Are the Wealthy?) are amassing more and more loot -- and they do their best to pay little or no income tax (last year Goldman Sachs' tax rate was a mere 1%!). Would Jesus approve of this? If not, why do we let such an evil system continue? It doesn't seem you can call yourself a Capitalist AND a Christian -- because you cannot love your money AND love your neighbor when you are denying your neighbor the ability to see a doctor just so you can have a better bottom line. That's called immoral -- and you are committing a sin when you benefit at the expense of others. When you are in church this morning, please think about this. I am asking you to allow your better angels to come forward.
