some time ago i have noticed that IOS is to support NMEA over async ports, so
one can buy an inexpensive GPS receiver and gets a perfect synchronized

The only chassis-related RMA I have experienced were
1) several times the chassis came damaged due to transport
2) a failed env-mon PCB on a 7500 lots of years ago. The folk from TAC
has sent me a new chassis only to replace the tiny PCB and send the
chassis back :)

Toby,
What I need to do is add the outer layer VLAN ID.
I know we can achieve this with loop back cables. As well 7600 with ES

The catch is that EBGP has admin distance of 20 by default so the prefixes

I'm a little curious since there have been so many threads about
running
management stuff in VRFs. I've until now considered VRFs something for

Is management from a VRF to be considered best practice?
Telcos are doing something similar
In a working MPLS VPN scenario, is it possible to import and export

You can use a VRF-level export maps to filter on export or to assign
prefix-specific RTs. You can use import maps to filter specific prefixes
on import. Which suits you better
Hi,
I'm wondering if one of you is running SXI2 non-modular code and has
had
negative experiences?
We run it on a 7604/Sup720 with no problems at all, and on a
7603/Sup32-10G
that is a bit unhappy with us these days - it's spontaneously reloading
every few days (twice so far),
TAC was pretty responsive, they have identified this as CSCtb27643. It happens
in SXI2, both modular and monolithic, and whether in VSS or not, just when DFCs
are in place. The ddts is not public so ask your local team.
