Can someone give be a basic understanding in ebooks? I have read some
articles on the NET, but am confused about which which ebooks can be
read on which programs, as well as DRM.
I have a couple of ebooks that people have given me and can't read
them. One is an epub. I tried it on Calibre, but
I am no longer receiving updates for google chrome browser. Only have
32 bit on desktop.
What would be a good replacement for this browser. I was using

I have a number of audio and video files. I would like to adjust the
volume so it is set to 0. Would be interested in a program that I could
do as a batch such as a directory. Hopefully not too complicated. I
have used Audacity, but don't know if that would work with the audio on
the video files.
Can someone tell me how to identify the font size used in a pdf file?
The properties doesn't tell this. I'd like to know the size of the text
before printing (will probably take it to Staples or another print
shop). If it is too small is there a way to increase the size?

Can anyone recommend some good search engines. I have been using
google, yahoo, bing. Mostly none of these give me results that I am
