Hi Group, Just got home from the Doctor on the eye bleed. He said, don't
worry about it that we are in an area with high pollen and I may have
rubbed my bleed to hard without thinking about it. If it does not get better
in a few days to give him a call. When ever moving to a different

my eye doctor and was told not to worry. It takes a while, but it will clear

My eye bleeds weren't due to high pollen count. This was spontaneous and due

After being on Gleevec for so many years I know my blood has changed, it's
much thinner, my skin on the back of my hands bleeds easy. If I bang it
on something it will bleed very easy, I put pressure on it and it stops
right away. My Doctor from Chicago advised me to sale my motorcycle
With the high pollen count my allergies kick in and I wipe my eyes to hard
with my fingers when they start itching. Then I break the blood vessels.
I'll put and ice pack on later that seems to help a little.

I have had eye bleeds for many years--I've been on Gleevec for 12 years next
month. They are shocking to others, sometimes uncomfortable, but benign
according to my ophalmologist and oncologist and yes--caused by Gleevec. I'm in
a CML support group with 60 members or so and those on Gleevec
