Hi Tom,
Wow, your nameplates are in really good shape. They don't look like
acrylic. It's obviously a material that stands up better. I have made
some improvements to my model since yesterday and now includes the "R".

Fortunately, most of the gel coat damage is under the plexiglas, so it

I'm quite sure those blades would work well for soft calk like
silicones or urethanes, but Plexus is hard as a rock and I don't think they
would work. In addition, the big problem is getting at the bottom window

I recently purchased a CC 37 Plus and the pathetic sound insulation in the
engine enclosure was disintegrating, so I ripped it all out. Now the
question is, what to replace it with. I am considering Soundown products.
An opinions out there? What should I use?

Just as long as the saltwater tubes don't leak you should be fine.

under the cockpit. The pickup is on the starboard end. When the tank is
about 1/2 full and you heel the boat about 30 degrees to port, the fuel

Hi Josh,
Now I understand that you had to cut the rudder post housing in
order to use the standard Edson arm. Thanks for the pictures.

I just bought a 1990 37 Plus which is in need of new instrumentation. I am
seriously considering the BG Zeus2 system including instruments, radar and
below deck autopilot? Any opinions?

Len,
That's great. It really doesn't matter much the brand of autopilot.
They all should install in a similar manner.
Thanks,

Hi Josh,
Is the rudder shaft exposed under the deck (I haven't crawled down

Hi Greg,
I had a post to the CC list blocked for being to big, and I think the
one below was it. If so, I apologize for the delay.
Yes, I did loose some throw. I have 45 degrees of rudder angle in
each direction (90 degrees lock-to-lock). I don't find that to be a
problem.
