We just came back from Fort Collins via Larimer CR 64 (aka Nunn Road aka
Weld CR 100) and at the county line spooked a large flock of rosies from
both sides of the road numbering 60+. Did not stop.

While I was out on Raptor Alley this Saturday ran into Bill Fink at Nunn's
gas station where he mentioned he had seen the rosies that morning (thanks,
Bill). At top end of Raptor Alley I went over there and saw what I estimate

Thanks to Ed Raynor's(!) eBird post yesterday I finally snagged Nunn's
Varied Thrush after many attempts!
Stakeout is sage green house NE of the town park (across from it). They
have small fenced in area with feeders along their driveway on east side of
house. The ground is protected

have a troupe of 20-30 that visit our backyard for food and water almost

Had two Lapland Longspur fly overhead in yard yesterday. You can probably
find them along Weld CR 33 between 98 and 100. The expansive Prairie Dog
colony to the west is now grown into our 33 acres (Two Burrowing Owl
families this summer).

the Weld CR 74/61 ponds. Drive east from intersection about two miles, dog

Over the weekend, Rocky Mountain Bee Plant

Hi all
Weld CR 124 pond is a large mudflat and had large numbers of shorebirds.
The north side inlet hosted White-faced Ibis (14+) and lots and lots of
both yellowlegs. The south side had even more yellowlegs and a flock of
about 30-40 "peeps" way off on the southeast side of remaining pond.

Speaking of a large group, over tis past weekend down by Cozzens lake/Eaton
there is a small wet area along CR 41 south of CR 74 on west. I had a flock

Up north a banner year, in my yard I had, at one time, 7 Bullock's (5m,
2f), down the road at "Nunn's Gravel Pit" had Baltimore and Orchard
(multiple) Oriole. A female Bullock's continues to come to yard almost
daily. Others in NOCO report the same, one woman had 11 in her yard at once!
