the front yard this morning. If you don't see them in the front yard, they
may be on the back patio. I haven't seen the Redpoll yet but it's still

Amongst the hordes of gray-crowned, about 250, a friend and I found one black
rosy finch. I spotted a common redpoll in with the house finches. We both got
nice looks at the redpoll before an adult female sharpie chased everything off,
and then the magpies chased the sharpie off. Another great

Rosy-Finches, all 3 species, are present in my yard. They are alternating
between the back and front yards. If someone wants directions, please
email privately. My guess is they will come and go during the day.

So far this morning I don't see any Rosy-Finches here but the rub is that
I've been gone for a week and Tammy doesn't put the feeders out or spread
seed because of the elk when I'm gone when she is at work so there hasn't
been any seed for a while.

I've seen only a couple of Rosy's this am. There is a Sharp-shinned Hawk
sitting on the north side of the house and a mule deer eating their seed.
I really doubt there will be many today with all the sunshine.
On a sad note, I believe that one of the fluffy Rosy's met it's end
yesterday

Some Rosy's just showed up and after a Sharp-shinned Hawk vacated their
tree.
That's the 5th raptor species I have seen in that tree this year. 2

Accipiters and 1 Buteo.

The Rosy's are here this morning.
I should tell you that there is road construction at the intersection of
Kimball and Heritage Road which is where you normally come into my
neighborhood. For now, you need to get to Heritage Road off of Colfax (Bus
40) and turn north on Heritage there.

I did see about 20 Rosy's in the tree in the backyard this a.m. but I don't
see them now. I'll update if I see them.

feeding areas at the area behind the Red Rocks Trading Post in
