probably continuing Glossy Ibis on the southeast side of Walden Reservoir
this morning, associating with 4 White-faced Ibis.

I found an adult male Black-throated Blue Warbler on the east side of Flagler
State Wildlife Area in Kit Karson County this morning at about 10:30. It was
foraging high in a cottonwood grove. Photos were obtained. Also present were
two Ladder-backed Woodpeckers which was surprising given the

Cty) for the morning. It was ideal and lots of birds to be seen. We found 6
species of warblers including Black-and-white, Orange-crowned, Yellow,
Yellowthroat, and Yellow-rumped warblers and Yellow-breasted Chat. Other

Bev Baker, Laurel Temmen and I tripped lightly around the Goshawk loop in S.
Bldr this morning and among other lovely finds (several Abert's squirrels of
varying colors) we heard and found at least one set (2 or 3) of hyper-active
Virginia's warblers this morning.

This evening there were 12-14 Wilson's Phalaropes at Sombrero Marsh feeding
actively along with a single White-faced Ibis. A lone male Great-tailed
Grackle was singing in earnest and Yellow-headed Blackbirds have arrived.

When you say north, do you mean within Boyd Lake State Park? The northernmost
parking lot? Or somewhere else? I drove up there today, and was disappointed.
One Spotted Sandpiper, one Willet, some Killdeers. And the Sandpiper and Willet
were not at the mudflats located at the North parking lot!

Pre-dawn stops produced 4 *Common Poorwills* at Cathy Johnson Trail near
Deer Creek Road and South Valley Park, and 1 *poorwill *near Mann Reservoir
in South Valley Park. The wetland area near the south end of the park
had 6 *Wilson's
Snipe* winnowing and chipping (very cool) and 1 *Virginia
