Brush Hollow SWA. The lake is exceptionally low but I did see an Eared
Grebe and a few common ducks there. As I was about to leave a flock of

The first fall female Chestnut-sided Warbler continues to be seen in Washington
Park in the same location as previously posted. It continues to be in a large
warbler mixed lock of Townsend's, Yellow-rumps, Orange-crowned, and Wilson's.
The only other migrants were White-crowned Sparrows,

There were two CHESTNUT-COLLARED LONGSPURS visiting the puddle that is about
150 yards down the Coalton Trail, accessed off Highway 128, this afternoon.
There was little else out there as far as bird life goes.

Late report, but the birds may well be lingering: Yesterday, Tues., Sept. 18th,
mid-morning, at 6 Mile Reservoir, Boulder County, I saw 1 juvenile Sabine's
Gull (presumably the bird found earlier by Peter Gent) and 1 basic Black Tern.

of banding thus far at Chico Basin Ranch, with daily totals of 11, 25, and 20
birds
banded on Monday,
Tuesday, and Wednesday. Season total is

Thanks to Mark Chavez, who helped us see this life bird. He left and we were
relaxing in the shade, when Art Hudak showed up. We saw some activity in the
garden area, around the hedges, then we ended up under a sm. Oak tree. We were
watching Orange-crowned Warblers, Townsend's, when I looked up
