I was able to locate the tree from the video this morning. Not to say there is
not a Painted Redstart around but it just had an American Redstart in it. Going

I'm here right now. About to give up. I've been here for an hour and a half and
haven't seen either bird. I walked both up and down the creek. The habitat on
the other side of Broadway seems very favorable with berry and juniper trees.
Lots of Robins, Waxwings, Starlings and a couple Solitaires
This afternoon I had three Common Redpolls in Lory State Park,
approximately half way down the Kimmons Trail. They seemed fairly active
and were moving to the south.

Sandhills are certainly on the move today. I counted 14 formations flying
overhead from my front yard between 12:00 Noon and 1:30 pm. Easily 400+
cranes in the first 10 minutes. Later formations were smaller, but still
amazing.
