Hi Sofie
a simple tcl script can make your bot +x ...
good old Algol wrote a auto login to X/W and it's easily done to add a line
in to auto +x after that.

well a decent e-mail client and a little bit of patience on behalf of the
end user, can easily delete, filter spam.
i have many filters, annoying as they are to set up, but at least it does
it's job 90-95% of the time. (of course spammers are tricky and that 5-10%

Tom,
your post just sucked bigtime.
even if they were g:lined they could still DoS the IP, so the g:line would

well i'd love to see a g:line for 1 day for an IP that is abusing on the

2) spamming
3) abusive botnet runner
4) other forms of severe abuse
then on the 2nd instance of an abuse, then it gets 2 days, soon enough you

Hi Coder Team(s),
Anychance that the host after logging in/moding yourself +x , it could
stipulate your ISP and/or country?
username.country.users.undernet.org ? ... wensu.australia.users.undernet.org
or wensu.au.users.undernet.org
username.isp.country.undernet.org ? ... wensu.bigpond.au.users.un
t term, or probably not even feasible,
who knows, but *sounds* nice.
Thanks,

/me can see a whole lot of the ident@nickname-of-
abuser.undernet.opers.org type (vhost)
ip's being used as "trickery" of not so literate users.
its not any actual host provided by unet, but they use similiar
type host to trick/manilpulate people.
