Or to be even more effective, I had suggested something like
SpamAssassin to user-com@, but that was shot down too. It's a very
effective solution, and can even work with RBLs such as ordb.org.

How do I find, locate servers, channels and chats on SUN Solaris
networking and clustering? I am new to IRC but have been trying to find

"recent" numerical size of a channel and what the proportionality should
be--should it be linear? Quadratic? Advantages? Disadvantages?

How about permitting users with X account to add the +x mode on their
account's default... This would use a state in X db.
That way +x mode is on by default on user that want it.

Since the admin info is available anyway, there's no harm in allowing a
remote /admin look up.

to extend it's expiration date.

/whois X give the normal info even when X isn't on line? This
can be very confusing and can cause users to think that X is linked just
not on their channel. If X isn't on line, shouldn't /whois X return no such
nick?
