problem booting to NOR?

Hi.. I hope someone can point out what I'm doing wrong. I want to boot into my Freerunner's NOR to try flashing different images, but I can't get it to work. I've followed what's on the wiki, and all I get is a brief pop or crackle from the speaker, and then about 6 seconds later the red LED

I've had this problem when the initial fix was obtained while I'm inside a vehicle (such as a bus or car) or near a lot of metal. Going to a complete stop, then moving a few times (in the car) seems to give the chipset a better chance to realize it's got a bogus fix. -Rusty Yaroslav
