Well I still get no sound with Zhone, calls are silent both ends, and it
never rings. I can play back audio with aplay and mplayer (wave, ogg,

I have a similar problem when I fire up wifi, and it's caused by having two
default routes.
Try "ip r" and see if it lists two default routes -
Unless I'm very mistaken, those are both the same USB->Ethernet adapter.

I've been playing around with USB host mode for a couple weeks now, and
wanted to itemize my results. (previously touched on some of this in one
of the USB keyboard threads and on my blog) Any questions just ask, but I
mostly envision this as a thread where we can post results of various USB

My guess is that it incorporates some constants that depend on the actual

I've been thinking about callerid name lookups.

I used to sell T-Mobile, Cingular, AT&T (before they merged), & Sprint.
I've been a T-Mo customer for about seven years, and I wanted to offer

Presuming that V1 devices will lack bluetooth, what other means exist
for one device to recognize proximity of another?
With SMS we could communicate with a few 'friends' and keep updated as
to GPS locations, but that depends on cell carrier and manually
inputting number/email/something. GPRS wou
