I am new to this service and a solution to launching iTunes on Vista may

Uninstall iTunes and restart...download the newest version and try
installing it again, making sure you do it as admin. Try also running
itunes as admin, right clicking the itunes launcher will give you the option
to launch as admin.

I don't have Vista, but it sounds like an overly aggressive UAC
thinking that iTunes is a virus or something. Like Mike said, try
running as Admin (if you haven't already). Maybe check your UAC

I understand that there are other builds after that, but I'm not sure
how/where to get them. You'd think it would get updated as they came
out. Guess not.

You can get em on torrent sites...and before anyone cries foul, MS is going
to release a public beta before going GM so using these released torrents is
hardly a problem. 7077 I believe is the latest.

I'm not too big on Torrents. Seems like all the files have different
sizes which doesn't instill a great deal of confidence. Not to mention
that I don't like the idea of hanging my computer out there for

Okay. Convince me that people who buy cheap hardware are not idiots.
