Certainly. It's a disk/nfs problem.
Yes, you're right. The nfs-server was lx 2.2.16 (nfs.sf.net says loudly

Hi.
I just tried to build courier-0.38.2.20020619.tar.gz with gcc 3.1.1 on a
MandrakeLinux Cooker system. The courier install.html file says, that
courier cannot be build with gcc 3.0.
The compilation went on with no errors. Is the note in the install.html
file outdated?

Hi.
I just rebuild courier-0.38.2.20020619.tar.gz as a RPM on a
MandrakeLinux Cooker system.
When the RPMs are created, I see this as the Requires: line:
Requires: courier = 0.38.2.20020619 ld-linux.so.2 libc.so.6 libcrypt.so.1 libdl.so.2
libgdbm.so.2 libm.so.6 libmysqlclient.so.10

No. gcc 3.0 is definitely foobared.
Okay, fine. Maybe the sentence should be clearified:
# NOTE: At this time, Courier cannot be compiled by gcc 3.0, however
# later or earlier versions of gcc work fine.

Hello,.
I am trying to provide pop3/smtp services for some clients that have random

Hi.
While I still had all the courier packages installed, I tried
to access the webadmin CGI program. Well, I don't seem to be
able to login. I tried changing the password in
/etc/courier/webadmin/password to something easy and entering
it in the form. But the program always denies access.

requiring authentication for all inbound esmtp connections?
This is the default configuration. Nothing special needs to be done.

Is this a secret masonic sign, a hook for space alien AI cyborgs, a

It's not a problem, but inquiring minds want to know :)
