working for a couple weeks now but can't find a solution:
As there's not really a manual of how to implement vpopmail/courierimap

Use PAM, unless I am mistaken, the service names are 'imap' and 'pop3'
Hello,
I am migrating my Mailbox POP system (based in Qpopper) to Courier. By
now, I already have to continue using POP.
I have a script downloaded from Internet named mbox2maildir (I don't
remmember the URL) that converts a mailbox file to maildir format.
The problem I

Look at http://www.courier-mta.org/links.html
As for me I've packaged DrWeb with its filter for courier-mta into RPM and it
works just fine.

I misspoke when I suggested that this behavior is a bug. I understand
the flow of querying for user aliases. My suggestion is that for a
virtual domain that is 'aliased', the address be re-written (internally)
before alias expansion occurs.
Take the 'domain.com' and 'domain.net'

Hi,
For about a month I have been using a selfsigned SSL-cert for my
courier-imap 1.6.1 (now) server with success...
Now I have got trusted signed SSL-certs that I like to use. The problem
seem to be that I need to enter the PEM-password to have it work. I

Hi,
I scary feeling comes up... can Courier-IMAP handle password locked

them with Courier-IMAP?
For example when using Apache one get asked about the PEM-password when
you are starting the server... but it seem not to be in

I've done exactly that. The problem is that my private key needs to be

There's some merit to that line of thinking from a theoretical viewpoint,
however note that:
mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
maildrop: foo@bar
Will get you what you want.

I'd like to use RH8 if people think courier's fine there...
