 Christian Coalition is so thoroughly partisan that it does not
 deserve tax-exempt status, a development welcomed by People For the
 American Way Foundation President Carole Shields, who called the
 ruling "long overdue but worth the wait."

Any one know if the People For the American Way Foundation is tax exempt?

  For U.S. investors, Saudi Arabia is one of the most important countries
in the world.  It's the largest oil exporter, containing somewhere between
25% and 30% of the known world oil supply.  When Saudi Arabia sneezes, U.S.
investment markets catch pneumonia.
  While we cannot be certain, it looks like a big sneeze is just around
the corner.  The exact timing is not predictable, but when it happens,
investors who are in the right oil investments [see Crude Oil Strips] will

Here's the Story:

  Look at a world map from the last century and you'll find the Arabian
peninsula labeled Arabia, not Saudi Arabia.  This seems a small point, but
it's the key to understanding what's happening.
   Saudi Arabia is a giant desert: a third the size of the U.S., but with
only 17 million people.  (The U.S. has 258 million.)  When I flew over the
"Empty Quarter," I felt as if I were flying over the surface of the moon.
Most of the Arabian peninsula is so dry and worthless that until this
century, few tribes bothered to draw the boundaries between their
territories.
  Until the early Middle Ages, the peninsula was inhabited only by a few
nomadic bands.  Then it was divided into numerous states often at war with
each other.  One of these was the Saud family dynasty, founded in the 1400s.
  In the 1500s, the Turks gained control of the area along the Red Sea
called the Hejaz, and in the 1800s, the British took parts of Hasa and Oman
along the east coast and Aden in the southwest tip of the Arabian peninsula.
  The wars among the tribes continued until the 1930s when ibn-Saud,
backed by the British, finally conquered the other tribes.  He established
the state of Saudi Arabia, roughly within its present boundaries.  Yemen and
the other small states of the Arabian peninsula are the lands ruled by tribes
the Saudis did not subdue.

When Saudi Arabia finally does slide into chaos, I will not be surprised to
see the price of oil double in 48 hours. Call this "Scenario # 1."

If the crisis includes an invasion by Iraq or Iran, I will expect oil to
triple in 48 hours. Call this "Scenario # 2."

If it includes an invasion by both, I expect oil to quadruple in 48 hours.
Call this "Scenario # 3."

If at the time it happens you have five of the Crude Oil Strips, purchased at
$2,000 each for a total investment of $10,000,* your possible net profits
could be:
Scenario # 1 -- $250,000 based on oil @ $38 per barrel
Scenario # 2 -- $630,000 based on oil @ $57 per barrel
Scenario # 3 -- $1,010,000 based on oil @ $75 per barrel

 A newly discovered FBI document reveals that George Bush was
directly involved in the 1963 murder of President John Kennedy.
The document places Bush working with the now-famous CIA agent,
Felix Rodriguez, recruiting right-wing Cuban exiles for the
invasion of Cuba. It was Bush's CIA job to organize the Cuban
community in Miami for the invasion. The Cubans were trained as
marksmen by the CIA. Bush at that time lived in Texas. Hopping
from Houston to Miami weekly, Bush spent 1960 and '61 recruiting
Cubans in Miami for the invasion. That is how he met Felix
Rodriguez.
 You may remember Rodriguez as the Iran-contra CIA agent who
received the first phone call telling the world the CIA plane
flown by Gene Hasenfus had crashed in Nicaragua. As soon as
Rodriguez heard that the plane crashed, he called his long-time
CIA supervisor, George Bush. Bush denied being in the contra
loop, but investigators recently obtained copies of Oliver
North's diary, which documents Bush's role as a CIA supervisor of
the contra supply network.
 In 1988 Bush told Congress he knew nothing about the illegal
supply flights until 1987, yet North's diary shows Bush at the
first planning meeting Aug. 6, 1985. Bush's "official" log placed
him somewhere else. Such double sets of logs are intended to hide
Bush's real role in the CIA; to provide him with "plausible
deniability."  The problem is, it fell apart because too many
people, like North and Rodriguez, have kept records that show
Bush's CIA role back to the 1961 invasion of Cuba. (Source: The

 That is exactly how evidence was uncovered placing George
Bush working with Felix Rodriguez when JFK was killed. A memo
from FBI head J. Edgar Hoover was found, stating that, "Mr.
George Bush of the CIA had been briefed on November 23rd, 1963
about the reaction of anti-Castro Cuban exiles in Miami to
the assassination of President Kennedy. (Source: The Nation,

 On the day of the assassination Bush was in Texas, but he
denies knowing exactly where he was. Since he had been the
supervisor for the secret Cuban teams, headed by former Cuban
police commander Felix Rodriguez, since 1960, it is likely Bush
was also in Dallas in 1963. Several of the Cubans he was
supervising as dirty-tricks teams for Nixon, were photographed in
the Zapruder film.
 In 1959 Rodriguez was a top cop in the Cuban government
under Batista. When Batista was overthrown and fled to Miami,
Rodriguez went with him, along with Frank Sturgis and Rafael
Quintero. Officially, Rodriguez didn't join the CIA until 1967,
after the CIA invasion of Cuba, in which he participated, and the
assassination of JFK. But records recently uncovered show he
actually joined the CIA in 1961 for the invasion of Cuba when he
was recruited by George Bush. That is how Rodriguez claims he
became a "close personal friend of Bush."
 Then "officially" Rodriguez claims he quit the CIA in 1976,
just after he was sent to prison for his role in the Watergate
burglary. However, according to Rolling Stone reporters Kohn 
Monks (11/3/88), Rodriguez still goes to CIA headquarters
monthly to receive assignments and have his blue 1987 bulletproof
Cadillac serviced. Rodriguez was asked by a Rolling Stone
reporter where he was the day JFK was shot, and claims he can't
remember.
 George Bush claims he never worked for the CIA until he was
appointed director by former Warren Commission director and then
President Jerry Ford, in 1976.  Logic suggests that is highly
unlikely. Of course, Bush has a company duty to deny being in the
CIA. The CIA is a secret organization. No one ever admits to
being a member. The truth is that Bush has been a top CIA
official since before the 1961 invasion of Cuba, working with
Felix Rodriguez. Bush may deny his actual role in the CIA in
1959, but there are records in the files of Rodriguez and others
involved in the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba that expose Bush's
role. The corporations would not put somebody in charge of all
the state secrets held by the CIA unless he was experienced and
well trained in the CIA. (Source: Project Censored Report, Feb

 Recently I interviewed former CIA liaison officer L.
Fletcher Prouty. He is a consultant for the excellent new movie
on how the CIA killed JFK, being made by Oliver Stone. He told me
that one of the projects he did for the CIA was in 1961 to
deliver US Navy ships from a Navy ship yard to the CIA agents in
Guatemala planning the invasion of Cuba. He said he delivered
three ships to a CIA agent named George Bush, who had the 3 ships
painted to look like they were civilian ships. That CIA agent
then named the 3 ships after: his wife, his home town and his oil
company. He named the ships: Barbara,

Extremists".  I cannot help but wonder if conferences like these

concepts of Global Governance and the New World Order.

what they believe, their tactics, their psychological makeup, who
they target, how they gather and share intelligence, how they

 My question is:  Who are the real "Homegrown Extremists"?
 Couldn't they just as well be BATF?  DEA?  FINCEN?  FBI?  CIA?
 FEMA?  or even WACKENHUT?  ADL? JDL?.ad infinitum?  Doesn't
 it work both ways?

 I propose that an American Citizens' Intelligence Conference be
held on real "Homegrown Extremists" and learn "who they are, how
they evolved, what they believe, their tactics, their
psychological makeup, who they target, how they gather and share
intelligence, how they attack, how American citizens' watchdog

"THE CULLING OF THE LITTLE EMPRESSES"

Take a look at this picture.
Boys massively outnumber the girls - evidence of a society that is purging
despised female babies ... with chilling social consequences
[The photo mentioned is not included here, however, picture a school
classroom of 27, 10-year-old kids, of those 27 kids in view, only 3 are
readily identifiable as girls.]


There's something a little odd, and more than a little sinister, about
these serried ranks of eager, happy, healthy little Chinese boys in a Fu
Guang primary school in. southern China.

Where are all their sisters?

Answer: there aren't any. The lives of the sisters of these 'Little
Emperors' (as the Chinese call their beloved, and often thoroughly spoiled,
sons) were snuffed out long before they could join their brothers at school

Drowned at birth, stuffed into rubbish bins or suffocated - or, if the
parents could afford it aborted after an illegal sex-determination scan
showed that the foetus was a girl.

For two decades now, China, with a population of 1.3 billion has operated a
draconian 'one-child-one-family' policy. In theory, a good idea: China has
around one-quarter of the world's population, but only 7pc of the world's
arable land.

If the population grows too fast, then starvation might well result. But,
as so often in China, 'good ideas' executed with brutality and repression
and skewed by corruption, tend to backfire at great human cost. In this
case, it's at the cost of baby girls' lives.

Traditionally the Chinese have always wanted boy children. So, if you're
allowed only one child, every Chinese family is desperate to make sure that
it's a boy.

Leo, from prosperous Canton, is one such parent. While his wife was in
labour, he and his friends were drinking rice-wine toasts: 'This is for a
boy!'

As he drunkenly explained: 'We get one chance only. Any Chinese who says
that he does not want his child to be a son is a liar. Some blame their
wives, and some find a second wife and try again. A second wife is cheaper
than the fine.'

The fine for a second child in the city (rural families are allowed two if
the first is a girl) is now £9,000 - a fortune when the average rural wage
is less than £30 a month.

Leo's wife, however, was taking no chances on mere rice-wine toasts.
Without her husband's knowledge, she'd secretly paid a local doctor for an
illegal scan to make sure that her child was a boy, thereby saving her
marriage.

Within a week of the boy's birth, his delighted father was celebrating with
rice wine again, baby in tow, showing off his triumph to his friends.
'Zhong Le!' (Bingo) he shouted repeatedly. Of course, Leo s wife, a
city-dweller, could afford to bribe a doctor - poor rural women don't have
the money.

'The pressure for a boy is too much,' she says. 'Most of my friends pay a
doctor for a scan ... often they will stay with the doctor for an illegal
abortion. Ninety-seven per cent of all abortions (many of them brutally
enforced by the dreaded Birth Control Committees to prevent the
'unauthorised' birth of an extra child) are estimated to be of female babies.

When it comes to punishing those who break the 'one-child' rule the (often
corrupt) Birth Control committees appear to have untrammelled powers. Women
who break the rules are often forced to have an abortion (even up to the
moment of birth), forcibly sterilised and even imprisoned.

Neighbours are paid to 'snitch' on anyone who might be trying to get away
with an extra birth. It is no longer legal to destroy a famous house if a
wife has 'transgressed' the birth quota, but it happens anyway - unless the
bribe to the local Birth Control Committee is large enough.

So desperate are Chinese couples for a boy that, if they've aborted (or
murdered) a baby girl and now find that they cannot have a child, they turn
to kidnap gangs who will charge rural parents up to £1,000 for a stolen boy.

Even my family has been affected by the boy-kidnapping trade. My
sister-in-law, Nellie, is a Chinese Singaporean. Nellie and my brother's
son, Martin, looks sufficiently Chinese to tempt these ruthless gangs and,
while he was still of lucrative 'kidnappable' age, Nellie lived in terror
for him.

The kidnapping of boy babies for the Chinese market has even spread to
Singapore!' she told me.

In Shenzhen, a rich southern city during one two-month period last year, no
fewer than 56 advertisements appeared in the local Press from desperate
parents trying to find their stolen boy children.

Child psychologists tracked 4,000 boys and girls aged 6 to 15 in

"Children who get guns from their parents don't commit gun crimes
(0 percent) while children who get guns illegally are quite
likely to do so (21 percent).

"Children who get guns from parents are less likely to commit any
kind of street crime (14 percent) than children who have no gun
in the house (24 percent) -- and are dramatically less likely to
do so than children who acquire an illegal gun (74 percent.)

   LEWISTON, Calif. (AP) - A fire that federal authorities set to thin
brush got out of control and roared through a mountain hamlet,
destroying two dozen homes and forcing 500 people to flee.
   High winds and hot weather Friday fanned flames of the "controlled
burn" beyond a 100-acre expanse of brush and weeds and into Lewiston.
There were no injuries, but many homeowners who fled returned Saturday
to little more than smoking rubble.
   "It just exploded," said one resident, Rod Robinson. "We had a few
minutes to get out of there," he said as he examined the smoldering
debris of his home. "I grabbed our coats, I grabbed our guns out of the
cabinet. I got the '57 Chevy." Besides the house, Robinson lost his
workshop, several automobiles, motorcycles, and a collection of
85-year-old china.
   "I apologize for this. It just happens sometimes," said Doug Held,
who was in  charge of the fire set by the Bureau of Land Management to
thin out fire-prone overgrowth. "I think we're going to have to
re-evaluate our prescription burn program."
   By Saturday, the fire had blackened more than 2,000 acres of brush
and forest land. It was 50 percent contained by the afternoon, but
there was no estimate of when it would be  completely under control.
Falling temperatures and lighter wind were aiding the effort, however.
   Air tanker planes, helicopters and more than 2,000 firefighters were
at the scene, a rugged swath of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest
about 300 miles northeast of San Francisco.

 Mysterious delays plague Kennewick Man lawsuit

 On the second anniversary of what was supposed to be a speedy
 case, Kennewick Man's future remains about as murky as his
 past.

 Kennewick Man was discovered by a couple of college students
 in 1996, who found him along a bank of the Columbia River in
 Washington. He's believed to have been a fisherman who died
 9,300 years ago. A stone spearpoint stuck in his hip, and the
 repeated infections that likely came with it, could have been
 the cause. He stood about 5 feet 8 inches, tall for his time.
 He could've been anywhere between 40 and 55, an old guy back
 then.

 His discovery has stirred religious tensions, racial unrest,
 political posturing and scientific curiosity. With that in
 mind, it should shock no one that Kennewick Man has devoted
 most of his 20th century existence to court, the subject of a
 lawsuit filed in Portland.

 Believed to be one of the oldest and best preserved skeletons
 ever found in North America, Kennewick Man has whipped up a
 convoluted legal war. The combatants include five Native
 American tribes who seek to rebury the remains without study;
 the U.S. government, which repeatedly has sided with the
 Indians; eight well-respected scientists anxious to unlock
 clues to the peopling of the Americas; and a pagan,
 pre-Christian religious group which, like the tribes, is
 looking to lay claim to Kennewick Man.

 For two years, Portland has been the battle's legal
 epicenter. Two local lawyers, Alan Schneider and Paula
 Barran, sided with science, filing a lawsuit against the
 government seeking the right to study Kennewick Man's
 skeletal remains much more thoroughly.

 The suit was filed on behalf of the eight scientists who view
 Kennewick Man as a potential magnifying glass for the origin
 of modern American man. Before the government seized the
 skeleton on behalf of the tribes in 1996, initial reviews
 indicated that Kennewick Man possessed Asian and European
 features and might not be Indian at all.

 Portland was determined to be a better venue for the
 litigation. Both lawyers live here, and they felt a Spokane
 lawsuit would be viewed as a battle against the tribes.

 On June 27, 1997, U.S. Magistrate Judge John Jelderks stayed
 the case. He also called for a study of the remains to
 determine the skeleton's origin and which group might call
 him theirs, although no plaintiff was to take part in the
 research. Jelderks asked that the government first determine
 whether the skeleton was, in fact, Native American. If that
 proved to be true, the next step, he said, would be for the
 government to find out if the skeleton could be linked to a
 modern-day tribe.

 He requested that the controversy be resolved in a "timely
 and orderly manner."

 Two years, according to Schneider and Barran, is not
 particularly speedy, even in the eyes of the time-warped
 anthropologists and archaeologists they represent. Several of
 the plaintiffs, considered the best in their respective areas
 of study, are pushing 70. But they wait, because they must.

 "Welcome to the Kennewick Man war room," Schneider said as he
 walks into his no-frills office on Southwest Columbia Avenue.
 "Talk about something that consumes one's life."

 Although the pressure has eased some as they wait for the
 results of the government study, he continues to file data
 requests under the federal Freedom of Information Act and to
 outline future strategies for when the stay is lifted.

 Already, he estimates, he and Barran have put in more than a
 half-million dollars in pro bono time. The government has
 spent about double that.

 Schneider, an amateur archaeologist often tapped in cultural
 resource cases, got involved in the Kennewick Man case at the
 request of Doug Owsley, division head of physical
 anthropology for the Smithsonian Institute's Museum of

 The Independent Counsel law lapsed last night at midnight.
 And Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr said the law should not
 be re-authorized.

 Obviously, Starr believes that, because his own investigation
 was a waste of tens of millions of dollars, the Independent
 Counsel law should be trashed.

 The truth is that the Independent Counsel law is a good law.
 When corruption has been rooted out in places like France and
 Italy, it has usually been the result of an independent
 magistrate -- their version of our Independent Counsel.

 We also know that when Independent Counsels like Donald
 Schmalz and Daniel Pearson did their jobs, the Clintons were
 in a high state of panic and used every possible means to
 stop them.  We know that Bill Clinton has been fearful of
 another Independent Counsel being assigned to investigate
 Chinagate, allegations that he took Chinese campaign cash
 and gave away nuclear secrets.

 The law should stay.  It's Ken Starr who must go.  A weak,
 pathetic character, he has more responsibility than any other
 man in American history for the woe the Clintons have, and
 will wreak, on America.


 The Hubbell Deal

 Just how pitiful Starr's "prosecution" has been was
 demonstrated this week when Webster Hubbell admitted to
 committing a felony by misleading federal investigators,
 and a misdemeanor by failing to pay taxes.

 Any normal citizen would have been jailed and fined for such
 crimes.  Not Webster Hubbell.  Under Starr's plea agreement,
 Hubbell will be on parole and serve no jail time.  He won't
 even pay any fine or restitution.

 Worse, Webb Hubbell still doesn't have to cooperate with
 Starr in his investigation of the Clintons.  Hubbell
 continues to insist, "... I have no knowledge of any
 wrongdoing on behalf of the president or Mrs. Clinton."

 Starr's failure to seek Hubbell's cooperation -- a basic
 condition of granting a plea agreement -- violates the most
 fundamental procedures followed by federal prosecutors.
 But flouting procedure is nothing new for Starr.

 In December of 1994, when Hubbell admitted to having bilked
 his clients at the Rose Law Firm and evading taxes, Starr
 purposefully botched the plea agreement by not demanding
 Hubbell's cooperation.  Starr's actions so infuriated Starr's
 own trial attorney, Russell Hardin, that Hardin resigned.

 Hardin was incensed that Starr planned on signing a plea
 agreement without debriefing Hubbell as to what he knew and
 how he would cooperate -- a mandatory procedure for any plea
 bargain.

 This time around, Starr simply made no pretense he would seek
 Hubbell's cooperation.

 Just two weeks ago, the New York Times reported that Kenneth
 Starr had decided not to seek indictments against Bill and
 Hillary Clinton for crimes they had committed related to
 Whitewater or related scandals.  It's hard to get indictments
 if no one will talk.  It's nearly impossible to get people
 to talk, if the prosecutor doesn't pressure them.

 As any honest prosecutor on Starr's staff will admit, Starr
 had long ago decided not to indict the Clintons, or for
 that matter, any White House official.  Some believe Starr
 actually cut a deal with the Clintons soon after coming
 aboard.


 Pet Worm

 Ken Starr is Bill Clinton's pet worm.  Starr has played out a
 role in the greatest Mutt and Jeff, Good Cop/Bad Cop routine
 ever perpetrated on the American public.

 Even good folks, who realize how bad the Clintons are, have
 fallen victim to Starr's charade, taken in by the propaganda
 that Starr is the "tough, mean prosecutor" out to get the
 President, just like James Carville says.

 That's simply a mirage, cooked up by the White House spin
 machine.


 What Nolanda Hill Told Me

 Is it really possible that Bible-toting Ken Starr -- arch
 Republican, shirt-sleeve Christian, and Monica prosecutor
 -- is on the Clintons' side?

 Let me answer by relating this story:

 As the long-time lover and business partner of Clinton
 confidant Ron Brown, Nolanda Hill had intimate knowledge
 of the inner workings of the Clinton White House.

 As a result of Congressional complaints, Janet Reno was
 forced to appoint an Independent Counsel to investigate
 Brown, his business dealings with Nolanda Hill, Brown's
 son Michael, and several other people.

 The Independent Counsel in this case was Daniel Pearson from
 Miami.  Unlike Starr, Pearson and his deputy were no one's
 patsies.  Instead of using Starr's delaying tactics, Pearson
 had, within months, built a strong case against Brown,
 Brown's son, and Hill.  Nolanda Hill told me they were going
 to be indicted.

 Then Brown made a desperate bid to save himself.  Just weeks
 before his death on April 6, 1996 Brown met with Clinton at

Earlier this month, on the final day of a congressional recess, President
Clinton appointed James Hormel ambassador to Luxembourg without Senate
confirmation. The move prompted Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., to remark,
"[Clinton] has shown contempt for Congress and the Constitution." Is Inhofe
right?

Clinton's act was certainly constitutional. A recess appointment is one of
the executive powers enumerated in the Constitution: "The President shall
have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the
Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the end of their next
Session" (II, 2, 3). The provision was originally created to fill vacancies
that actually occurred during a recess, but it has since morphed into an
all-purpose executive tool to counter Senate intransigence. President
Kennedy, for instance, appointed Thurgood Marshall to the bench during a
recess because he feared opposition from Southern senators. By the time
Marshall's nomination came before the Senate, that resistance had been
beaten back.

Presidents also use recess appointments to delay a confirmation vote until
after an election, when the nominee possesses the advantage of incumbency
and, ideally, faces a friendlier Congress. President Eisenhower appointed
three justices during recesses: Earl Warren, William Brennan, and Potter
Stewart. All three occurred immediately before an election, and all were
confirmed the following spring by a new Congress.

Hormel, an heir to the meat-packing family and a San Francisco-area
philanthropist, is openly homosexual and a large contributor to the
Democratic party (over $200,000 in the '95-'96 election cycle). Conservative
religious groups have complained that he has refused to condemn the
Catholic-spoofing performance group Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
(Luxembourg is 99 percent Catholic.) His 1997 nomination passed the
Judiciary Committee, but Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott deferred to the
objections of several conservative senators, including Inhofe, by refusing
to bring the nomination to a vote on the floor. Hormel's appointment will
last until December 2000, several weeks before Clinton steps down.

Clinton has used the recess appointment relatively sparingly; his average of
nine per year is far lower than Reagan's 30 and Bush's 20. And the GOP
Congress has consented to at least one unconfirmed Clinton appointment: When
Drew Days stepped down as solicitor general in July 1996, the Senate let
Clinton appoint Walter Dellinger--already confirmed as an asssistant
attorney general--as "acting" solicitor general after Dellinger promised to
serve only one year.

But the Senate hasn't looked kindly on most unconfirmed appointments. When
Congress took a recess in 1997 and warned Clinton not to appoint
controversial NAACP lawyer Bill Lann Lee to the Justice Department while it
was gone, the president appointed Lee as an acting official instead of
making a recess appointment. And since acting officials must be employed by
the DOJ at the time of appointment,  Lee was first hired as deputy assistant
attorney general, which requires no confirmation, and later that day
promoted to the position for which he had been nominated -- assistant
attorney general for civil rights -- in an acting capacity. Congress closed
this loophole as part of last year's budget deal. Meanwhile, Lee has been
"acting" in that position for more than 500 days.

 Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the
 Declaration of Independence?

 Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured
before they died.
 Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons serving

 Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer,
Walton, Gwinnett,
 Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.

 At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that the British
General Cornwallis
 had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged
General George
 Washington to open fire.  The home was destroyed, and Nelson died
bankrupt.

 Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed.  The enemy jailed
his wife, and
 she died within a few months.

 John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13
children fled for
 their lives.  His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste.  For more
than a year he lived
 in forests and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his
children vanished.  A
 few weeks later he died from exhaustion and a broken heart.  Norris and

 suffered similar fates.

 Such were the stories and sacrifices of the American Revolution. These

This is a real problem for China.  I read another account that there are 125
million young men without hope of finding a Chinese wife.  This account
states 111 million.  By either account, this is a chilling statistic.  These
are ideal soldier material, if their "spoiling" can be overcome.

I have an acquaintance who has gone to China twice, adopting these unwanted
baby girls.  Both are beautiful, healthy children.  I have even considered
this myself but do not think I could raise a child today on my own.  The
friend who adopted the girls is not wealthy.  She is my dog-groomer and she
and her husband both must work.  She says that just getting the girls to
this country insures they will at least survive.  She also told me there was
little trouble with the Chinese but be sure to have a visa from this country
to bring the child home.  Anyone even considering adopting might consider
these baby girls.  It could be a matter of life and death for them.

 Guang primary school in. southern China.

 Where are all their sisters?

 Answer: there aren't any. The lives of the sisters of these 'Little
 Emperors' (as the Chinese call their beloved, and often thoroughly
spoiled,
 sons) were snuffed out long before they could join their brothers at
school

 Drowned at birth, stuffed into rubbish bins or suffocated - or, if the
 parents could afford it aborted after an illegal sex-determination scan
 showed that the foetus was a girl.

 For two decades now, China, with a population of 1.3 billion has operated
a
 draconian 'one-child-one-family' policy. In theory, a good idea: China has
 around one-quarter of the world's population, but only 7pc of the world's
 arable land.

 If the population grows too fast, then starvation might well result. But,
 as so often in China, 'good ideas' executed with brutality and repression
 and skewed by corruption, tend to backfire at great human cost. In this
 case, it's at the cost of baby girls' lives.

 Traditionally the Chinese have always wanted boy children. So, if you're
 allowed only one child, every Chinese family is desperate to make sure
that
 it's a boy.

 Leo, from prosperous Canton, is one such parent. While his wife was in
 labour, he and his friends were drinking rice-wine toasts: 'This is for a
 boy!'

 As he drunkenly explained: 'We get one chance only. Any Chinese who says
 that he does not want his child to be a son is a liar. Some blame their
 wives, and some find a second wife and try again. A second wife is cheaper
 than the fine.'

 The fine for a second child in the city (rural families are allowed two if
 the first is a girl) is now £9,000 - a fortune when the average rural wage
 is less than £30 a month.

 Leo's wife, however, was taking no chances on mere rice-wine toasts.
 Without her husband's knowledge, she'd secretly paid a local doctor for an
 illegal scan to make sure that her child was a boy, thereby saving her
 marriage.

 Within a week of the boy's birth, his delighted father was celebrating
with
 rice wine again, baby in tow, showing off his triumph to his friends.
 'Zhong Le!' (Bingo) he shouted repeatedly. Of course, Leo s wife, a
 city-dweller, could afford to bribe a doctor - poor rural women don't have
 the money.

 'The pressure for a boy is too much,' she says. 'Most of my friends pay a
 doctor for a scan ... often they will stay with the doctor for an illegal
 abortion. Ninety-seven per cent of all abortions (many of them brutally
 enforced by the dreaded Birth Control Committees to prevent the
 'unauthorised' birth of an extra child) are estimated to be of female
babies.

 When it comes to punishing those who break the 'one-child' rule the (often
 corrupt) Birth Control committees appear to have untrammelled powers.
Women
 who break the rules are often forced to have an abortion (even up to the
 moment of birth), forcibly sterilised and even imprisoned.

 Neighbours are paid to 'snitch' on anyone who might be trying to get away
 with an extra birth. It is no longer legal to destroy a famous house if a
 wife has 'transgressed' the birth quota, but it happens anyway - unless
the
 bribe to the local Birth

 of the SS and the occult basis of the Hitlerian philosophy has convinced me
 that those who have come under his sway are possessed by some sort of evil
 which I had not before understood to be possible. I pity them and you.

  The German Central Bank before Hitler was a private bank as is our own
  Fed Res Bank. Hitler changed that. I'm not sure how Hitler traded with other
  countries. It may have been barter or it may have been gold and silver or
  other precious metals or stones. It is not necessary to be on a gold
  standard to use gold as a medium of exchange. Any "standard" merely
  guarantees there is enough of something that has a set value everyone agrees
  to that sets the value of exchange between nations or other entities. It
  could be salt, for that matter, or any other commodity suitable to all
  involved, thus a guaranteed standard of exchange exists.
  Hitler's, Lincoln's and Kennedy's treasury bills drew no interest for
  Bankers and, in my opinion, got these three killed. Also, bankers were not
  able to use the fractional reserve to increase their profits by margin of
  10.

Perhaps the Republicans got the idea to make such a big deal out of every
little thing from the Democrats' handling of the Watergate Investigation.
One of Nixon's staff went to prison for having a single FBI file in his
possession.  Not nearly enough has been made of the 1000+ that just appeared
in the White House under current administration.  I think I would prefer
Watergate to Chinagate any day  Now there is a subject I want to know more
about.

I doubt that every little thing has been brought out concerning Clinton's
sexual activities.  Granted, a bit graphic on the one known to have occurred
in the Oval Office involving a very young intern.  It would appear that  may
have been the least of his wrong-doings.  Was information from the 1000 FBI
files given to Larry Flynnt to blackmail all members of congress as
suggested?  Just what were they doing with those files?  I think Clinton got
off extremely lightly on that and apparently everything else he has done.
At least Nixon has the decency to resign.

WRITTEN STATEMENT OF CELERINO CASTILLO III, (D.E.A., RETIRED) FOR THE
HOUSE
 PERMANENT SELECT COMMITTEE ON INTELLIGENCE

 April 27, 1998
 For several years, I fought in the trenches of the front lines of
Reagan's "Drug War", trying to stamp out what
 I considered American's greatest foreign threat. But, when I was
posted, in Central and South America from
 1984 through 1990, I knew we were playing the "Drug War Follies." While
our government shouted "Just
 Say No !", entire Central and South American nations fell into what are
now known as, "Cocaine
 democracies."

While with the DEA, I was able to keep journals of my assignments in
Central and South America.
These journals include names, case file numbers and DEA NADDIS (DEA
Master Computer) information
to back up my allegations. I have pictures and original passports of the
victims that were murdered by
CIA assets. These atrocities were done with the approval of the
agencies.

We, ordinary Americans, cannot trust the C.I.A. Inspector General to
conduct a full investigation into the
CIA or the DEA. Let me tell you why. When President Clinton (June, 1996)
ordered The Intelligence
Oversight Board to conduct an investigation into allegations that US
Agents were involved in atrocities in
Guatemala, it failed to investigate several DEA and CIA operations in
which U.S. agents knew before
hand that individuals (some Americans) were going to be murdered.

I became so frustrated that I forced myself to respond to the I.O.B
report citing case file numbers, dates,
and names of people who were murdered. In one case (DEA file #
TG-86-0005) several Colombians and
Mexicans were raped, tortured and murdered by CIA and DEA assets, with
the approval of the CIA.
Among those victims identified was Jose Ramon Parra-Iniguez, Mexican
passport A-GUC-043 and his
two daughters Maria Leticia Olivier-Dominguez, Mexican passport
A-GM-8381. Also included among the
dead were several Colombian nationals: Adolfo Leon Morales-Arcilia
"a.k.a." Adolfo Morales-Orestes,
Carlos Alberto Ramirez, and Jiro Gilardo-Ocampo. Both a DEA and a CIA
agent were present, when
these individuals were being interrogated (tortured). The main target of
that case was a Guatemalan
Congressman, (Carlos Ramiro Garcia de Paz) who took delivery of 2,404
kilos of cocaine in Guatemala
just before the interrogation. This case directly implicated the
Guatemalan Government in drug trafficking
(The Guatemalan Congressman still has his US visa and continues to
travel at his pleasure into the US).
To add salt to the wound, in 1989 these murders were investigated by the
U.S Department of Justice,
Office of Professional Responsibility. DEA S/I Tony Recevuto determined
that the Guatemalan Military
Intelligence, G-2 (the worst human rights violators in the Western
Hemisphere) was responsible for these
murders. Yet, the U.S. government continued to order U.S. agents to work
hand-in-hand with the
Guatemalan Military. This information was never turned over to the
I.O.B. investigation. (See attached
response)

I have obtained a letter, dated May 28, 1996, from the DEA
administrator, to U.S. Congressman Lloyd
Doggett (D), Texas. In this letter, the administrator flatly lies,
stating that DEA agents "have never
engaged in any joint narcotics programs with the Guatemalan Military".

I was there. I was the leading Agent in Guatemala. 99.9% of DEA
operations were conducted with the
Guatemalan military. In 1990, the DEA invited a Guatemalan military G-2
officer, Cpt. Fuentez, to attend
a DEA narcotic school, which is against DEA policy. I know this for a
fact because I worked with this
officer for several years and was in Guatemala when he was getting ready
to travel to the States.

Facts of my investigation on CIA-Contras drug trafficking in El
Salvador:

The key to understanding the "crack cocaine" epidemic, which exploded on
our streets in 1984, lies in
understanding the effect of congressional oversight on covert
operations. In this case the Boland
amendment(s) of the era, while intending to restrict covert operations
as intended by the will of the
People, only served to encourage C.I.A., the military and elements of
the national intelligence
community to completely bypass the Congress and the Constitution in an
eager and often used covert
policy of funding prohibited operations with drug money.

As my friend and colleague Michael Ruppert has pointed out through his
own experience in the 1970s,
CIA has often bypassed congressional intent by resorting to the drug
trade (Vietnam, Laos, Iran,
Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc).

When the Boland Amendment(s) cut the Contras off from a continued U.S.
government subsidy, George
Bush, his national security adviser Don Gregg, and Ollie North, turned
to certain foreign governments,
and to private contributions, to replace government dollars. Criminal
sources of contributions were not
excluded. By the end of 1981, through a series of Executive Orders and
National Security Decision

AFFIDAVIT OF EDWARD P. CUTOLO

I, Edward P. Cutolo, having been duly sworn, do state under oath;

1. I am currently the Commanding Officer of the 10th Special Forces
Group(Airborne), 1st Special Forces, Fort Devens, Massachusetts.

2. I swear affirmation to the contents of this affidavit freely and
without coercion or threat to my person.

3.In Dec., 1975, I spoke with Col. "Bo" Baker concerning a classified
mission he commanded during that month, inside Colombia. The mission was
known as Watch Tower.

4. Following a lengthy discussion with Col. Baker, I was introduced to
Mr. Edwin Wilson and Mr. Frank Terpil. Both Wilson and Terpil were in
the employ of the Central Intelligence Agency. Both Wilson and Terpil
inquired if I was interested in working for short periods of time in
Colombia and I acknowledged that I was.

5. In Feb., 1976, I commanded the second Watch Tower Mission into
Columbia.

6. The purpose of Operation Watch Tower was to establish a series of
three electronic beacon towers beginning outside of Bogota, Colombia and
running northeast to the border of Panama. Once the Watch Tower teams
(Special Action Teams) were in place, the beacon was activated to emit a
signal that aircraft could fix on and fly undetected from Bogota into
Panama, then land at Albrook Air Station.

7. During the Feb., 1976, Watch Tower Mission, 30 high performance
aircraft landed safely at Albrook Air Station where the planes were met
by Col. Tony Noriega, who is a Panama Defence Force Officer currently
assigned to the Customs and Intelligence Section. Noriega normally was
in the company of other PDF officers known to me as Major Diaz Herrera,
Major Luis del Cid, Major Ramirez. Also present at most of the arrivals,
was Edwin Wilson, and an unidentified male Israeli national.

8. The cargo flown from Colombia into Panama was cocaine.

9. The male Israeli national was identified and known to members of the
570th Military Intelligence Group in Panama who only specified that this
individual had the authority from the U.S. Army Southern Command in
Panama to be in the A.O.

10. In March, 1976, a third Watch Tower Mission was implemented and I
was in command of that mission which lasted 29 days and engaged in the
same tactics used in the Feb., 1976, mission. The March mission
encountered a serious accident and resulted in several SAT members being
injured from wounds suffered while attempting to exfiltrate from
Colombia across the border into Panama where helicopters were waiting to
extract them.

11. The March, 1976 mission incident occurred as the SAT that was on
station at Turbo, Colombia, encountered 40 to 50 armed men. Action
Intelligence reports identified the armed men as local bandits. In
regards to this incident the helicopters waiting in Panama, to extract
the SAT, entered Colombian air space without authorization and
successfully extracted the SAT, after an estimated six or seven minute
fire fight.

12. During the March, 1976, Watch Tower Mission, 40 high proformance
aircraft landed safely at Albrook Air Station where they were met in
previously related fashion by those named.

13. After the Watch Tower Mission in March, 1976, I lost touch with
several of the men who had served on the SATs, but made no attempt to
locate them.

14. In 1978, I assumed command of the 10th Special Forces Group
(Airborne) at Fort. Devens and recognized two soldiers.

15. The two soldiers I recognized were assigned to 10th Special Forces
Group (Airborne). One was assigned to a Special Forces Operational
Detachment Alpha in the 3rd Battalion, Sgt. John Newby. The other had
just been reassigned off an Operational Detachment Alpha following a
criminal Investigation Division matter being levied against him. PFC
William Tyree. Tyree was reassigned to a Forward Support Team but had
been carried for the preceding month on 2nd Battalion's roster.

16. Upon the assumption of command, I created and implemented 12
separate SATs. Their mission was to implement Army Regulation 340-18-5
(file number 503-05). My authority for this action came directly from
FORSCOM through Edwin Wilson who appeared before me in my office at 10th
Special Forces Group Headquarters. This action was taken to develop
surveillance of politicians, judicial figures, law enforcement agencies
at the state level, and of religious figures.

17. Mr. Edwin Wilson explained that it was considered that Operation

On Friday, Sept 4, 1998,  Bill Tyree filed the above action seeking
$63,000,021 in actual and exemplary damages. The foundation of the case
arises from failure to return personal property (i.e. photographs,
uniforms
etc. illegally seized by Ayer police during the investigation of the
murder
of Elaine Tyree in 1979. Prior criminal judgements against Ayer Police
for
theft form a basis for the suit. The suit alleges that Geo. Bush, in his
capacity as DCI and as documented head of CIA drug trafficking
activities
ordered the theft and destruction of diaries kept by Elaine Tyree prior
to
her murder. It also alleges that Bush and CIA have been part of an
ongoing
criminal activity designed to smuggle drugs into the United State. The
complaint, filed by Tyree is 101 pages long and contains approximately
five
inches of supporting material including affidavits from me (already in
your

possession) and the daughter of Albert Carone, who was Oliver North's
Chief
bagman.

More affidavits are being added to the complaint on a daily/weekly basis
and I can assure you that documentary and other evidence will directly
link
to George Bush.

Celucci, the Republican Governor appointed after William Weld's
departure
is seen as having little chance for election. He has prior service as
Mass
AG and before that as a special prosecutor. In that capacity he
investigated the Ayer Police Department and found massive corruption and
theft which he was aware of as AG when Tyree made several appeals and
motions which Cellucci failed to respond to. Harshbarger, the current AG
and Republican Gubernatorial candidate has failed to comply with court
orders to return Tyree's personal property which, it is alleged, would
prove his innocence in the murder.

The suit seeks $21 million in real damages, ($1 Million for each year of
Tyree's incarceration, $42 million in exemplary damages, $21 for the
value
of the stolen photographs, an injunction against the defendants to
prevent
them from engaging in the criminal activity (i.e. drug smuggling), and
other appropriate relief in the interests of justice (i.e. a new trial).

I cannot over-emphasize the seriousness of the material which has been
filed. Starting Wednesday there should be Republican groans heard all
over
D.C. and louder ones at Langley.

could
possibly tell you here. We expect to be adding affidavits from Cele

for documents and depositions soon. Appeals mechanisms are already in
place
including remedies at the U.S. Supreme Court level.

his own wife. The complaints charge both men with receiving stolen

and with failing to comply with a ten year old order to return personal
property taken from William Tyree when police searched his residence
after
the murder of Elaine Tyree in 1979. Both Tyree and his attorney, Ray
Coleman, an associate of James Earl Ray attorney William Pepper, claim
that
the property, if returned, would  prove Tyree's innocence. In the
hearing,
held outside of Middlesex County where the murder and seizure occurred,

challenge or dispute a ten year old jury

I have heard Al Bielek speak on the "Philadelphia Experiment " at several
expos over the last two years. The material he presents is both astounding
and appalling! Last September, at the Los Angeles Whole Life Expo, Al
consented to do an interview for Connecting Link.

First you will read Als account of the years leading up to the
"Philadelphia Experiment. " Then, for the first time in any magazine, Al
shares further information on other, less known experiments that continue
to this day. Experiments that took place, and apparently, still do, at
Montauk, Long Island.

Alfred Bielek was born on August 4, 1916 as Edward A. Cameron II, son of
Alexander Duncan Cameron, Sr.

My father (Alexander Duncan Cameron, Sr.) enlisted in the U.S. Navy prior
to the U.S. entry into World War 1. He sired me and later A. Duncan
Cameron, Jr. (May 1917), by different mothers.

Both Duncan and I, as half-brothers, were raised largely by Aunt Arnold in
the Big House, still in West Islip, Long Island (father remained in the
Navy until 1930, when he was retired with a pension). Since there was no
lack of money (due to the Arnold/Constable Department Store fortune),
Duncan Jr. and I upon completion of high school) attended different
universities. I went first to Princeton, and later to Harvard, obtaining a
Ph.D. in physics. Duncan attended the University of Edinborough
(Edinborough, Scotland), also obtaining a Ph.D. in physics, in the summer
of 1939.

In September of 1939, both Duncan and I enlisted in the U.S. Navy-taking
commissions as Lt. (J.G.) and then attending a 90-day training school for
"Special Assignment" Navy personnel at Providence, Rhode Island.

With completion of training, we were both assigned to the Institute of
Advanced Study (Princeton, N.J.) and directly to the ongoing "Project
Invisibility."

With a completely successful test in 1940 (Brooklyn Navy Yard), the project
was classified and renamed "Project Rainbow." Offices were set up in the
Philadelphia Navy Yard. Duncan and I both shuttled back and forth between
Philadelphia and Princeton.

In January 1941, we were sent to sea for sea duty on the U.S.S.
Pennsylvania. We toured the Pacific until October 194 1, when the
Pennsylvania was put in dry dock at Pearl Harbor. After taking leave in San
Francisco and remaining there through December 1941, we were returned to
the Institute early in January 1942. We worked on the project through
1942-Nikola Tesla dropped out in March 1942, and Dr. John Von Neumann took
over at that time.

Duncan and I remained with the Project through the two tests in 1943 with
the "Eldridge." The second test, August 12, 1943, was a total disaster,
with many casualties and with Duncan disappearing permanently.

I remained with the Navy and married in late 1943. A son, Jess, was bom in
February 1944. In July 1944, the family and I were transferred to Los
Alamos, New Mexico, where I remained until July 2, 1947. At that time I was
forcibly removed and separated from my family-never to see them again.

With charges of espionage placed against me, I expected a General Court
Marshal. Instead I was transferred to Washington, D. C., whereupon charges
were dropped and I was transferred to Montauk, L.I. military base (Fort
Hero). From that point I was time shifted to 1983, back in the Phoenix
Project. Once there, I was given a super brainwashing-all memory was
removed.

The above information, I would  deduct as true information.
However, based on Bielek's own words, he was given a super brainwashing-all
memory was removed.


Additionally, I was age regressed (reduction of physical age and
size from a 30-year old to approximately I year of age) and then, at a
physical age of I year, sent back in time to 1927 to be plugged into a new
family as a substitute for a dead son. This new family- the Bieleks- became
my only known parents for over half a century!

Based on Al bielek's own words, he had been erased whole memories.   Thereofre,
his new memories must be re-programmed with totally different memories  with
the technique of "Psychic driving" (see details on following information).

into Book and Snake which is almost as choice.  He's the guy who took Nixon
out, and he is not now nor has he ever been a Democrat.  Nixon made some
great strides in protecting the environment.  Lots of Democrats I knew really
liked him.  It was his own party that took him out when he mutinied against

There are so few Democrats in Washington that you really present me with a
problem.  There was Robert Reish, but I don't know where he is now.  There's
Sheila Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, Jerrold Nadler, Barney Frank, John
Dingell, Maxine Waters, Marcy Kaptur, andTom Lantos.   I'm fairly sure these
guys are basically into the liberal agenda, but it's impossible to be
absolutely sure.  Most politicians are like Ben Nighthorse Campbell, they
want to be on any side that seems to be winning at the moment.  Since on the
grand curve of political opinion, Communism is the far left and Fascism the
far right, it would seem that Fascism is the wrong crime to blame on the

Formed in 1947, the Tavistock Institute is an independent not-for-profit
organisation which seeks to combine research in the social sciences with
professional practice. Problems of institution-building and organisational
design and change are being tackled in all sectors - government, industry
and commerce, health and welfare, education, etc. - nationally and
internationally, and clients range from multinationals to small community
groups. A growth area has been the use of a developmental approach to
evaluation of new and experimental programmes, particularly in health,
education and community development. This has also produced new training
events alongside the regular programme of group relations conferences. The
Institute owns and edits the monthly journal Human Relations (published by
Plenum Press) which is now in its 48th year, and has recently launched (in
conjunction with Sage Publications) a new journal Evaluation.

The ideology of American foundations was created by the Tavistock Institute
of Human Relations in London. In 1921, the Duke of Bedford, Marquess of
Tavistock, the 11th Duke, gave a building to the Institute to study the
effect of shellshock on British soldiers who survived World War I. Its
purpose was to establish the "breaking point" of men under stress, under the
direction of the British Army Bureau of Psychological Warfare, commanded by
Sir John Rawlings-Reese.

Tavistock Institute is headquartered in London. Its prophet, Sigmond Freud,
settled in Maresfield Gardens when he moved to England. He was given a
mansion by Princess Bonaparte. Tavistock's pioneer work in behavioral
science along Freudian lines of "controlling" humans established it as the
world center of foundation ideology. Its network now extends from the
University of Sussex to the U.S. through the Stanford Research Institute,
Esalen, MIT, Hudson Institute, Heritage Foundation, Center of Strategic and
International Studies at Georgetown, where State Dept. personal are trained,
US Air Force Intelligence, and the Rand and Mitre corporations. The
personnel of the corporations are required to undergo indoctrination at one
or more of these Tavistock controlled institutions. A network of secret
groups, the Mont Pelerin Society, Trilateral Commission, Ditchley
Foundation, and the Club of Rome is conduit for instructions to the
Tavistock network.

Tavistock Institute developed the mass brain-washing techniques which were
first used experimentally on American prisoners of war in Korea. Its
experiments in crowd control methods have been widely used on the American
public, a surreptitious but nevertheless outrageous assault on human freedom
by modifying individual behavior through topical psychology. A German
refugee, Kurt Lewin, became director of Tavistock in 1932. He came to the
U.S. in 1933 as a "refugee", the first of many infiltrators, and set up the
Harvard Psychology Clinic, which originated the propaganda campaign to turn
the American public against Germany and involve us in World War II. In 1938,
Roosevelt executed a secret agreement with Churchill which in effect ceded
U.S. sovereignty to England, because it agreed to let Special Operations
Executive control U.S. policies. To implement this agreement, Roosevelt sent
General Donovan to London for indoctrination before setting up OSS (now the
CIA) under the aegis of SOE-SIS. The entire OSS program, as well as the CIA
has always worked on guidelines set up by the Tavistock Institute.

Tavistock Institute originated the mass civilian bombing raids carried out
by Roosevelt and Churchill purely as a clinical experiment in mass terror,
keeping records of the results as they watched the "guinea pigs" reacting
under "controlled laboratory conditions". All Tavistock and American
foundation techniques have a single goal---to break down the psychological
strength of the individual and render him helpless to oppose the dictators
of the World Order. Any technique which helps to break down the family unit,
and family inculcated principles of religion, honor, patriotism and sexual
behavior, is used by the Tavistock scientists as weapons of crowd control.

My point was not Woodward, but the press in general--media at large, so to
speak.  TO this day, the name Nixon=crook, cover-up, scandal, etc.  The man
was driven out of office for his sins while Clinton is on TV shaking his
finger in our faces while lying and nothing happens to him.  I, too, liked
Nixon for getting us out of VietNam if nothing else.  My point is that the
Democrats use the media every bit as well if not better than the
Republicans. Unless something drastic has happened that I have failed to
notice, the last polls I saw stated that the media (TV reporters/major
newspaper and magazine writers) were something like 80% liberal in their
actual voting.  I cannot bring the survey to mind but if needed could find
it.  With this sort of "friends" doing the bulk of reporting, I find an
almost consistent liberal/Democratic party bias to the news.  Newt Gingrich
was thoroughly vilified in the press in every conceivable manner.

I think there was a choice made--charge Clinton on the sex thing or the
China thing and the sex thing was chosen as the far lesser of the two.  A
conspiracy within a conspiracy but Starr has his own China connections to
worry about becoming too public.  I my lifetime I he never seen a more
morally bankrupt administration--not even close.  Yet, the have remain the
media darlings and get very little negative coverage.  Some of the things
such as Clinton's Russia Tour would have been made much of before his
election if it had not been for this blanket of protection afforded him
personally and most Democrats/liberals in general.

That's what I think and that's what I know.  :)

As a fellow Brit, and with due regard for the toes I may have
accidentally trodden on a week or so back when I didn't realise several
listmembers were well known pranksters, I have to say that much of the
post reproduced below is b*ll*cks.

I remember John Smith's death, Andrew. It didn't happen 'at dinner one
night'; it happened first thing in the morning. He suffered a heart
attack at breakfast time (it was on the BBC news and local radio - non
BBC - as well) and he died between 9 and 10 am.

It was midweek some time (a Thursday most likely), and I had a day off.
That morning, I was on Milton Keynes market, with a mate. As with
Kennedy, Lennon and Curtis, I remember exactly where I was when John
Smith died.

Secondly, he was the choice of the Labour Party national executive; we
will never know whether or not he was 'the people's choice' because  he
never led the party into an election.

Thirdly, there seems to be some attempt to create a conspiratorial angle
out of his being 'physically fit' and on the other hand having a heart
attack. You don't bother to tell our non British colleagues that Smith
was quite considerably overweight and thus possessed one of the most
indicative 'risk factors' for the development of heart disease.

Lastly, I am a professional in the field of cardiac and critical care.
Anybody can have a heart attack. Non-smokers; thin people; stress-free
types; ANYBODY. I don't care what the Press want us to believe about
this disorder, because I've been there, I've seen it and I know. There's
no way of predicting from someone's lifestyle whether or not they will
have a heart attack; there are only more or less dodgy statistical
methods of determining that one person _may_ be more likely to have one
than another.

As for the 'Blair bandwagon' having influence on these events several
years before Blair became prime minister: gimme strength. The main
reason some people don't like Tony Blair is because he doesn't have a
magic wand to undo in one stroke the appalling and incalculable damage
done to this country by 18 years of Thatcherite short-termism and
general misrule.

I apologise for being innacurate about where Mr Smith may have ingested
something disagreeable.
ok Ros perhaps coming from eg. england, you were unaware of the strength of
feeling for Mr Smith, being a Scottish politician may not have been
newsworthy enough for people working for the 'Empire' - he was tipped to be
THE next labour Prime Minister.
The truth was, however, that Old Labour - idea of being abit more sharing
didn't have universal appeal - so what was needed was a second Conservative
Party that appeared to offer a better alternative.
Blair was elected because of his Thatcherism and was reported to be
consulting Mrs Thatcher before the elections.
secondly Tony Blair was at the Athens Bilderburger Conference - and as a
conspiratorial indicator - ask the american contingent - thats where the
future leaders are chosen and groomed.
Tony Blair and his cabinet is generally seen by most reasonable people to
be ENDORSING the policies of Thatcher - and reinforcing the covert agenda
of a one party state. Now not so covert as recent unpopular taxes and
stripping of Nationalised assets reveal to one and all.
Because most commentators can see where Blair is coming from with his
United nations Citizenship programme and other population controls - I
would advise you that trying to perpetuate an argument for established UK 2
party politics  as anything other than a scam for people who watch
Eastenders would be a waste of your time.
The idea that Tony Blair would wish to magic away Thatcherism is Naive.

The distinguishing characteristic of a police state is that law enforcement
looks like warfare, rather than law enforcement.  When I say "warfare" I am
referring to the acceptance of collateral casualties.  In war, we tolerate
a few deaths and injuries of innocent bystanders and civilians.  For
example, we figure an apology was sufficient for destroying the Chinese
Embassy in Beruit.

Collateral casualties are unacceptable in law enforcement.  Thus, our
founders said they would prefer to let 10 guilty men go than to punish one
innocent person.  The Bill of Rights is about law enforcement.  It is about
giving the accused every possible advantage and every benefit of any doubt.
Thus, a few guilty escape, but that's okay, because our focus is reducing
any chances of punishing the innocent.

Now, we in America have completed the transition.  Our new creed is "It is
better to punish 10 innocent men than to let one guilty person go free."
For example, the 90% who know how to enjoy drugs without endangering others
are punished in order to keep drugs out of the hands of the irresponsible
10%.  The 90% of gun owners who pose no unreasonable risk to others are
punished in order to keep guns away from the irresponsible 10%.  The 90%
who enjoy drumming in Liberty Park  have suffered while our city's finest
waged war on the 10%.  90% of the people "cleansed" from Pioneer Park were
innocent collateral casualties.  90% of the State Street Cruisers are
innocent of indecent or reckless behavior.  Our warfare mentality accepts
these casualties as part of the price we must be willing to pay to have a
perfect Olympic image for Salt Lake City.

Unfortunately, there is more to police state warfare than the collateral
casualties.  The image of the local police changes from "friends there to
protect you" to "occupying troops there to control you."  People lose their
faith and trust in the police.  When they have a problem with a neighbor,
they are less likely to call the police and more likely to throw a brick
through a window.  As more and more people see the police as their enemy,
our streets become less and less safe.  This breakdown in the moral
authority of the government is not trivial.  I believe more than a third of
today's murder victims would be alive if not for the drug war.  Prohibition
in the '20's about doubled our national murder rate.  After repeal of
prohibition, the murder rate returned to normal.  Now, with our national
drug war, the murder rate is back up to the level during prohibition.
Ending our police state mentality will save lives.

Of course, the problem did not originate in Salt Lake City.  But, as
someone once said, it should end here.  Our State and Federal governments
are working very hard to destroy the moral authority of government in
America.  By "moral authority" I mean this:  In my youth, I believed it was
my moral duty to obey the government.  Now, I obey the government for the
same reason I obey a gangster with his gun pointed at me.  The contract is
broken.  They can no longer say "You must obey our laws because we obey
your Constitution."

My campaign is about ending the police state by restoring the Constitution.

Salt Lake City must:

1.  Fire Chief Ortega.  He is too close to the problem for us to find
effective solutions with him on board.

2.  End the enforcement of all victimless crimes, including State Street
Cruising.

3.  Restore the Bill of Rights with the principles of innocent until proven
guilty, respect for due process, and letting 10 guilty go free before
punishing one innocent person.

4.  Return to the things most people expect a city to do:  repair the
streets and sewers and protect the citizens from harm.  End the nonsense
frills like taxing people for the Olympics,  building Light Rails nobody
wants or will use, and taking money from outlying areas to spend on
Downtown redevelopment projects.

5.  Eliminate all unconstitutional projects and just stop taking the money
from the pockets of the residents.

Finally, what do I need?  I need your enthusiasm.  I need you spreading the
word.  I need you to make copies of my flyers, or write your own and get
them into the hands of hundreds of voters.

Since the Power Ball Lottery was won by some lady in Minnesota, I
desperately need all the cash you can spare, even if it's only a few
dollars, instead of a few million.

sexbots, likely to contain vibrators, sound systems and other equipment,
are as significant as they are unexamined. If you thought the fight over
the CDA was bad, wait till Rev.  Falwell and his many pious friends in
Congress discover Sexbots. For better or worse, computing might be
breaking down another big wall.  Techno-futurists have a sorry record when
it comes to predicting technology and the future. Remember the
intergalactic travel that was the centerpiece of Disney's Tomorrowland?
The magnetic hover cars, cancer cures, and climate-control systems that
were supposed to have been long in place by the Millenium? And only a
handful of technologists imagined how big the Net would get.  But here's a
futuristic vision that's a far surer and troubling bet than e-sex:
sexbots.  For several years now, engineers and futurists have been writing
(quietly) in academic journals and other venues about the intuitive
computer-programmed robots - sexual companions that contain vibrators to
provide tactile stimulation and sounds systems to provide love talk - that
some researchers believe are likely to become commonplace in the next
century.  A few years ago, these predictions could have been brushed off
as more digital hype, but computers are obviously becoming more
intelligent and intuitive, and are fast processing information as rapidly
as the human brain. Inventors and futurists like Ray Kurzweil (author of
The Age of Spiritual Machines), are guaranteeing that computers will equal
or surpass human intelligence early in the 21st century.  So sexbots not
only don't seem far-fetched, they seem likely.  The contemporary news
media, odd in many ways, are never more so than when it comes to their
reticence to talk openly about sex (unless it's Presidential). They talk
about sex scandals and Viagra, but the ordinary experience of sexuality is
almost a taboo. The Net has liberated sex from XXX-rated movie theaters
and porn parlors - it's the third biggest money-maker online, after
e-trading and shopping.  For better or worse, it's hard to think of a
bigger killer app for computing and software than sexbots. According to a
computing engineer who asked not to be quoted, prototypes of sexbots
already exist in Japan.  "I guarantee you," he e-mailed me, "that within
25 years, programmable, digital sexbots will be in many, if not most,
American homes and apartments."  The idea of sexbots will be horrifying to
many, for whom the very idea of mechanized, roboticized human passion is
beyond any Orwellian nightmare. Mary Shelley, who warned in the novel
"Frankenstein" about scientists playing God, and the horrors of unthinking
technology, would have flipped-out over the very idea of sexbots. Yet for
some people - the lonely, the severely handicapped, the isolated - sexbots
could be a great relief and release. And for others - unhappy spouses,
troubled adolescents - digitalized, mechanized sexuality is an open
invitation to addiction or to avoiding problems of face-to-face human
contact.  Robotic sex would also eliminate the emotional component of sex.
Like fertility drugs and cloning, this is the kind of technological issue
in urgent need of discussion and consideration, even though history
suggests it won't be thought about much at all in advance. Like the drugs
that give couples the option of having seven or eight children at once, or
the medical technology that prolongs life sometimes beyond reason,
sexbots, will simply be here one day, and we'll be on our own when they
appear.  But sexbots are a techno-prediction that has the ring of truth.
Writer Joel Snell predicted in l997 (he's quoted in Richard Rhodes new
book Visions of Technology) that robots providing sexual companionship
were likely to see widespread use in the future.  Snell could foresee the
problems. Marriages might be damaged or destroyed if spouses choose sex
with sexbots over making love with their mates. Jealous lovers might
destroy sexbot rivals, or sue manufacturers for emotional damage.  On the
other hand, Snell pointed out, people seeking clarity about their sexual
identities would have a safe, reliable way to experiment.  Heterosexuals
might use same-sex sexbots to experiment with homosexuality or
bi-sexuality. Gay people might use other-sex sexbots to try out
heterosexuality. Predators with sexual addictions might no longer prey on
human beings.  Given that people become addicted to all sorts of pleasures
from slot machines to e-mail, sexbot addiction might be inevitable.

Thank you for your open minded interest! This is to you and all other
curious members of the list. What follows is a fairly detailed explanation
of my recent experiences and achievement, and is what lay behind my 'watch
this space' mail early last month.

Living on Light is something I was first exposed to in Autobiography of a
Yogi, in which Yogananda meets with two 'breatharians', Theresa Neumann in
Germany, and Giri Bala in India. Both women had, by the time of the meeting,
gone several decades without eating. Neumann, a nun who suffered the
stigmata every Friday, (heavy on bed linen!) insisted that she was nourished
directly by God. Giri Bala said her nourishment came from prana ('breath')
or, as it's known in the far east, ch'i, or qi.

Last year I came across a lady myself who is a breatharian, an Australian
called Jasmuheen. After hearing her lecture and seminar, my wife, Nikki, and
I realised this is not just something for the super-holy - in fact, it is
open to anyone with the right intent. We read her book (Living on Light)
which is spectacularly badly written, though serves well as a manual for the
process, and checked out her web site http://www.selfempowermentacademy.com
We also did further research into the subject, prepared from about February
on and, for most of May, we took ourselves through the 21 day process.

In a nutshell, this involves isolating oneself for the entire time with
books, gentle music, and space to meditate etc. The first 7 days is the
period where the physical need for food is permanently removed, (the
emotional need can take a lot longer!) and the pranic connection is made - 7
days of no food, no water, no liquid of any kind. Nil by mouth! Day 8-14 is
the healing week, conserving energy and allowing the body to re-adjust to
this significant, cellular-level tuning. And Day 15-21 is integration week.
This is necessary because the whole 21 day period is, in fact, an extended
initiation and, in our experience, the incredible insights, the information,
the connectedness which comes along with the conversion to prana take as
much appreciation as the re-tuning itself.

THERE IS MORE TO IT THAN I HAVE DESCRIBED ABOVE, SO DON'T TAKE MY WORDS AS
DEFINITIVE. IF YOU WANT TO FOLLOW THIS PATH, BUY THE BOOK!

We were both successful, of course. In fact, we prepared well beforehand. We
were already vegetarian, and over the preceding weeks moved off alcohol,
moved off cooked foods onto raw foods, and cut down intake gradually. This
meant we avoided any of the usual de-tox hassles of headaches etc. These
were three of the most beautiful weeks of our lives.

And now? Well, having gone through it in separate places 300 miles apart
(together would not have been a good idea) we have returned to each other to
find our already-good relationship has strengthened and deepened to a
remarkable degree. Our five senses are much more acute - at my retreat, I
found I was hearing the dawn chorus from birds in the trees 100 metres away,
and that's inside a caravan, inside a sleeping bag, under a duvet with my
hood up for warmth! Our sixth - n senses are also more heightened - we feel
the connection to the Universe on a much more profound level than ever
before. My thinking is crystal-clear. We're both sleeping much less - I've
gone from needing a good 7-8 hours a night down, quite naturally, to the 4 -
6 hour range, and it has yet to settle. I'm never tired, despite launching
back into my hectic job and lifestyle here in London. I have loads of energy
- even on week three I was walking in the countryside, doing 5, 6, 7 miles a
day. And we both feel absolutely brilliant!

After the three week initiation, one of the real benefits is total freedom.
We can eat if and as and when we want, or not. We don't even need to drink,
although we both do. It makes little difference what we eat, as our
nourishment is coming in in a much more refined form, and therefore junk
food has no effect, negative or positive. It's just for fun. Nikki and I
have found ourselves living this reality. She has chosen to start 'grazing'
after the 21 days were finished, and eats something small once every two or
three days - half an avacado, a bag of crisps, a bagel, whatever she
fancies. No meals, though, and no regularity. As I said, just for fun! I, on
the other hand, have chosen to continue eating nothing for the foreseeable
future. I want to take it deeper into my own consciousness (this is only
marginally easier to believe when you're living it!) and I want a daily
reminder, for now, of the complete shift I have achieved. As I write, I'm on
day 29 of zero food and, I kid ye not, I've never felt better!

I have lost weight and am now perhaps 15-20 pounds lighter than ideal.
However, I am re-programming my body to return to it's ideal weight and stay
there, and already it is coming back up. I intend to have a blood

Are you saying Clinton did not lie at that particular time or has not lied
at all?  I remember his saying that if a score card had been kept, he would
have gotten a pretty good score because he had told the truth to the
American people more than he had lied to them.  His own words.  That may be
just peachy with you but for some of us, it is not good enough.  Some of us
are against lying all the time.

My son works for the govt in DC (sad sign) and his girlfriend was not to
be in his apartment unattended.  They cannot get married until her security
clearance is final.  I do not discuss his work (I do not ask and he does not
tell) because he is given a polygraph test routinely.  If he had married the
girl before security clearance was through he could have gone to jail!  So
why is the Leader of the Free World entitled to more privacy than this
peon-level kid of mine?

You get in about 20 free pot shots at the Republicans before anybody says

The Trojan Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart's takeover of Asda will change the way supermarkets do business in the UK, but as Rodney Smith explains consumers may find that the deal could have an unexpected side-effect on what's on their dinner plates.

Speculation can be dangerous, and highly inaccurate - but it is the very lifeblood of the financial community. The fact that US pile-em-high-sell-em-cheap supermarket chain Wal-Mart is buying into the UK market by snapping up Asda, has set the minds of the investing community racing.

 The appeal for the Americans was huge; the UK food retailing market is dominated by a few big names now facing a government investigation about pricing.

This creates fertile territory for an aggressive and cost-conscious US chain which specialises in pampering consumers in only one way - with low prices.

Meanwhile, more and more British supermarket groups are bowing to perceptions of public opinion and deciding not to stock their shelves with food containing genetically modified - and therefore cheap - components.  Significantly, Asda has been the odd one out, one of the few UK supermarkets that has held out against the trend to stock 'green' produce like organic foods.

GM food is a touchy subject with US  manufacturers, of which Monsanto is the biggest, but not yet a world trade issue.

This could yet reach the tempo of the two food rows which already separate the EU and the US at the WTO - the banana and hormone treated beef disputes. Both have taken around 10 years to reach their present sub-fever pitch.

However - unlike the beef ban, there is no formal EU or UK ban yet on GM foods.

It is a racing certainty that America's biggest supermarket chain already stocks its shelves with GM derived or associated foods.

One of the keys to its commercial success in Europe will be access to cheap US food supplies; rather as the German chain Lidl already does with some of its food products in the UK.

So what are Monsanto, Wal-Mart and the other hugely powerful US business interests connected with the food production and retailing business planning?

That Wal-Mart becomes their Trojan Horse, and gives UK, and eventually other European consumers the choice they feel they deserve; GM altered foods, and eventually, possibly, hormone treated beef?

Still, it's only speculation.

 Farmers' initiative introduces Lambs online

 The Internet has reached the Welsh farmyard with the
 pioneering concept of lamb-in-a-van.

 In a bid to revive disastrous Welsh lamb prices last year,
 a group of farmers in mid-Wales have now turned their
 attentions from sheep dip to e-commerce.

 The result is Direct Welsh Lamb which offers meat for
 sale on the Internet for delivery straight to any front door
 in the UK.

 Dewi Owen, chairman of the company based in the
 village near Aberdyfi, explained that the idea began as
 they searched for alternative ways of selling produce.

 Supermarket demonstrations

 Along with other local farmers, he had grown tired of
 demonstrating in supermarkets over "astronomical"
 prices.

 Meetings were held with supermarket managers but they
 were fighting a losing battle when it transpired that much
 of the lamb sold was being brought down from Scotland.

 "We decided then to cut out the middle man and sell
 direct to the housewife," said Mr Owen. We knew there
 was a large market out there for people wanting good
 Welsh lamb.

 "Where I live is a seaside resort and it's surprising how
 many people come down on holiday and take half a lamb
 or indeed a whole lamb back to the Midlands to freeze.
 They complain that they can't get the same quality meat
 at home."

 Farmer built website

 So with the concept of direct selling, the group of six -
 Dewi, Idris Evans, Aled Rees, Gwyn Evans, Meirion
 Roberts and butcher David Roberts - returned to the
 drawing board to thrash out their marketing strategy.

 "One of the farmers is quite keen on computers so he
 built a Website for us which should be online some time
 next week," Mr Owen added.

 "The meat price will be a little bit higher, but not much,
 and you're not having to carry it from the supermarket."

 He claims that the quality of Direct Welsh Lamb is
 superior because it is left to hang for up to a week unlike
 much abattoir-slaughtered meat which is "in today and
 out tomorrow".

 Delivery by courier will take between a week and 10
 days, depending on availability, with the customer given
 the option of having their meat boned, cubed or minted.

a large elderly population that just might vote for Bush
Jr. from Texas.

They really got serious about this when solar energy
credits were around.  Harder to control people when you
can not freeze them out.
The military was down sizing and people were starting to
look at the Federal Government to do the same.

about the Jews starts at about Two-Thousand BC.
He shows how the world and it's affairs have
shaped the Jewish Religion. Johnson covers history
in detail and the parts of the book dealing with
the Holocaust could allow people learn, how the
Holocaust might have happened without having to
"reinvent the wheel." Also that planning for the
Holocaust started before Hitler came on the scene.

Belgium is the country that host NATO. It shows
that even though it host the organization that is
suppose to be the main force for world peace,
but Belgium is anything but peaceful. Rampet crime
that is suspected to have ties all the way to the
highest levels of government, and a national bank
owned by foreigners. There are definite problems in Belgium.

1998 This article follows the perfume industry
from the early ages to modern day. The majority of
perfume bases have been flowers and other plants,
combined with oil "in a 75 to 95 percent alcohol
solution." These traditional blends are being
replaced by synthetics, which means that less land is
being used to grow the flowers for their essences.
France is an example of this change, "developing
nations with less costly land and labor" have taken
some of their market, but synthetics have hurt
them too.

THE CITY

When people think of England such terms as 'Great Britain,' 'The Queen,'
'The Crown,' 'Crown Colonies,' 'London,' 'The City of London,' and 
'British
Empire' come to mind and blend together into an indistinguishable blur. 
They are generally looked upon as synonymous, as being representative of 
the
same basic system. During the 1950s and 1960s the author lived in England
(London for five years) without even beginning to realize the vast
difference that exists in the meaning of some of the above terms.
When people hear of 'The Crown' they automatically think of the King or
Queen; when they hear of 'London' or the 'The City' they instantly think 
of
the capital of England in which the monarch has his or her official
residence.
To fully understand the unique and generally unknown subject we must 
define
our terms:
When we speak of 'The City' we are in fact referring to a privately owned
Corporation - or Sovereign State - occupying an irregular rectangle of

acres and located right in the heart of the 610 square mile 'Greater 
London'
area. The population of 'The City' is listed at just over four thousand,
whereas the population of 'Greater London' (32 boroughs) is approximately
seven and a half million.
The 'Crown' is a committee of twelve to fourteen men who rule the
independent sovereign state known as London or 'The City.' 'The City' is
not part of England. It is not subject to the Sovereign. It is not under
the rule of the British parliament. Like the Vatican in Rome, it is a
separate, independent state. It is the Vatican of the commercial world.
The City, which is often called "the wealthiest square mile on earth," is
ruled over by a Lord Mayor. Here are grouped together Britian's great
financial and commercial institutions: Wealthy banks, dominated by the
privately-owned (Rothschild controlled) Bank of England, Lloyd's of 
London,
the London Stock Exchange, and the offices of most of the leading
international trading concerns. [Such as the British Invisibles, I kid 
you
not]. Here, also, is located Fleet Street, the heart and core of the
newspaper and publishing worlds.
TWO MONARCHS

The Lord Mayor, who is elected for a one year stint, is the monarch in 
the
City. As Aubrey Menen says in "London", Time-Life, 1976, p. 16: "The
relation of this monarch of the City to the monarch of the realm [Queen] 
is
curious and tells much." It certainly is and certainly does !
When the Queen of England goes to visit the City she is met by the Lord
Mayor at Temple Bar, the symbolic gate of the City. She bows and asks for
permission to enter his private, sovereign State. During such State 
visits
"the Lord Mayor in his robes and chain, and his entourage in medieval
costume, outshines the royal party, which can dress up no furhter than
service uniforms." The Lord Mayor leads the queen into his city.
The reason should be clear. The Lord Mayor is the monarch. The Queen is
his subject ! The monarch always leads the way. The subject always stays 
a
pace or two behind !
The small clique who rule the City dictate to the British Parliament. It
tells them what to do, and when. In theory Britian is ruled by a Prime
Minister and a Cabinet of close advisers. These 'fronts' go to great
lengths to create the impression that they are running the show but, in
reality, they are mere puppets whose strings are pulled by the shadowy
characters who dominate behind the scenes. As the former British Prime
Minister of England during the late 1800s Benjamin D'israeli wrote: "So 
you
see... the world is governed by very different personages from what is
imagined by those who are not behind the scenes" (Coningsby, The Century
Co., N.Y., 1907, p. 233).
This fact is further demonstrated by another passage from Menen's book: 
"The
Prime Minister, a busy politician, is not expected to understand the
mysteries of high finance, while the Chancellor of the Exchequer [Budget
Director] is only expected to understand them when he introduces the budget. 

Both are advised by the permanent officials of the Treasury, and these
listen to the City. If they suspect that some policy of the government 
will
[back-fire]... it is no use their calling up British ambassadors to ask 
if
it is so; they can find out more quickly from the City. As one ambassador
complained to me, diplomats are nowadays no more than office boys, and 
slow
ones at that.
"The City will know. They will tell the Treasury and the Treasury will 
tell
the Prime Minister. Woe betide him if he does not listen. The most 
striking
instance of this happened in recent history. In 1956 the then Prime
Minister, Sir Anthony Eden... launched a war to regain the Suez Canal. It
had scarcely begun when the City let it be known that in a few days he 
would
have no more money to fight it; the Pound would collapse. He
