rsync v.3.0.7 over cygwin 1.7.6 fails...

like this? I've asked the local rsync on linux guru's and they can't see any reason this should fail from a linux perspective. Apparently I am our company cygwin knowledge base by default. Looking for some help or guidance. Your time and consideration is appreciated. Blaine Miller

How do I kill ssmtp?

Hello, I'm getting an inordinate amount of mail in the deadletter files, some 400 meg since this server started. I've grepped for the PID to kill the process, I've looked in the Services table in Windows and I've looked in the Programs, uninstall and can't find any reference to ssmtp to kill!

Hello, I am running cygwin 1.7x under Win2k3 standard edition. Ssh from the windows host to the linux host without password works but when I attempt to scp from the linux host to the windows host it prompts for a password. I've exchanged authentication keys. As an example,

scp with no password not working.
