Hi,
currently working a bit on our usermanual I have a question about the
keywords panel in lighttable view.
This panel is on the left side, so it should belong to the type of
panels which give information on images or help to re-arrange the
collection. That's what happens if I double-click on
Turning off the highpass filter makes it look better. Setting the hp
filters blend mode to 'color' makes black and white.

I would bet for a wrong blend mode. Maybe using "color" blend mode?

Hmm, can't confirm here. Inclusive mode and all polarities set to
negative gives an empty (zero) mask; exclusive mode and all polarities
set to positive gives a fully selected (all one) mask.
Can you please supply a screenshot?
