It appears that I have created 1 more module column than there is space
provided. Even with the max side column width the column setting menu is
unreachable. Is there an easy fix? I need to delete a column.

Just built the current master, release-3.3.0-1223-ge23f54019,
I have to say that once that I found the '+' symbols it was blindingly
simple but my on-screen contrast, in any of the dt themes is
unfortunately very low.

Patrick maybe you can explain how to 'add' modules to a new group
because this is the essence of the problem that I am having. When I
create a new layout I can remove modules but fail to find how to add
modules to a specific column.

I'd like to stand up for this feature. I had the opportunity to read the

And the answer is that converting text to a path did the trick, once I
figured out how to do the job. :-P Patience is NOT my strong card. A
big "Thank you" to Guillermo for pointing me in the right direction.

Part of the logo is in fact curves, and does not vary, regardless of the
operating system, but two parts of the overall logo (used in differing
circumstances) are text, and one of those parts DOES change due to the
kerning not present in Linux. As for transforming text to curves, I'll

Have you tried converting the fonts to paths before exporting de SVG? That
should eliminate the font problem (I'm assuming the text is not a variable
that darktable needs to replace).
Regards,
The end result found is that Inkscape does not have the ability to embed
fonts into a .svg file. Ubuntu Linux does not respond to fonts as
Windows does. I've had to resign myself to the fact that a logo
designed to work well in darktable on Windows must be redesigned to work
tolerably well in
This whole issue seems to be a solution in search of a problem. I'm
just sayin'...

You *can* re-add the favourites column; in fact, I replied to your
