The name you reported from the Exif contains Zoom and this is not what
is entered into the pattern for the matching on the module.
The string must be exact match or you can use the joker '%' before and
after to match whatever is in prefix or suffix.

If the issue happens for your camera the look could be very slightly
different as the adobe coefs were not fully in sync but very close.

not images. So I don't see this as a good idea as generating previews
for the RAWs will be slow, very slow.
This is so by design, if you are looking for an image browser then for
sure you don't want to look at darktable.

1. Never move pictures after first import and moving it on safe storage.
2. When you really really need to move them use DT corresponding feature
from lighttable.
3. When you go away with your laptop use the local copies feature.
That should cover all workflows.

Start dt, put 5 simple modules (tone curve, exposition, color zone, wb,
crop & rotate) in your favorites. Start from this and you'll see that
it is not that difficult.
So that's certainly not difficult for everybody.

database and next time you start dt the pictures are there. The import

Lr does exactly the same with the same naming IIRC (Import folder).

There is some Lua plug-ins to launch GIMP for example. This breaks the
workflow (as does Lr & Photoshop) but it exists.

Select the images to place in a new folder (or all off them) and just move
them into a new folder. That's the way to rename a folder
