There is another problem If apply a style that calls all of my
presets this works but it duplicates everything in the history and then
I need to compress the history stack. OK it's not a big deal but
it simply is creating a nuisance.
Auto-apply presets should simply 'auto-apply'

I would have thought that presets would be automatically run as a part
of the import process .. to me that would make sense. Having to manually
operate a style after the import in order to activate what one already
determined was wanted, does not appear reasonable.

can you not do that already by setting the scope or just "%" which matches
everything?

Hi
FYI: Just opened feature request #8861

module
Best regards,

Hi Patrick
Thanks for your hints.

I've added my presets to a style that I call "I'm feeling lucky" in
memory of Picasa. I select the imported images and apply this style
along with a "lens correction" style. I might follow Patrick's
suggestion and auto-apply the former on import.
As an aside, I wasn't able to get the auto-apply

I have a number of 'presets' that provide a basic starting point for my
development. When I first open an imported roll of images the images
generally all look dark because the presets are not activated at this
initial point. Can somebody suggest a way that I can (possibly from the
lighttable)
