We had such a discussion some time ago about thunderbird (which is icedove).

Happy New Year, everybody!
Although it is now possible to append elevation details from exif data, it does
not appear to be possible with DTs internal mapping function. When using this
utility, latitude and longitude are indeed applied. However, the corresponding
elevation at that intersection
Hi,
i observed the same issue. The export presets have been wiped out,
nothing is left over.

Hi
In my case, I only had to replace (in system settings), 'kmail' by
'thunderbird'.
The only drawback is that in 'Subject' and the message body appear some
strange characters. For instance:
im%E1genes%20exportadas%20desde%20dartable
or
- _DSC3370.jpg (1/8000 f/6,3 50mm iso 140)

Mine are still there.
Formats have been jped and png. Storage was `/home/sk/da
I am seeing the same items created in the Thunderbird message which is
created.
The image file that is created is placed in /home/rlch/.local/tmp but
not linked to Thunderbird in any way.
I need to go look and insert the image ...
Cumbersome and inefficient.

I think it's either/or, not both. The effect is similar, with tone
curve boosing saturation less than base curve.
https://www.darktable.org/usermanual/ch03s04.html.php
'If you intend to take full manual control of the tonal values with
the tone curve module or the zone system module (see Section 3.
I send you an image, from Darktable, only deleting the garbage.
Please check.

Thank you Carlos
Message received with image inserted in body and attached as a file - no
problem.
Seems this does not happen for me!
I'll have to dig further into this ...

Hi,
same here.
Maybe the console output – first start of version 2.0.0 – helps:
[lighttable_init_presets] Can't upgrade 'export' preset
'4edit-with-gimp' from version 2 to 4, no legacy_params() implemented or
unable to update
