Hi,
after an update from Debian Jessie to Debian sid, I've noticed that the LightDM
accessibility is not working anymore. Orca starts with the usual greeter
message, but is silent afterwards. Neither keyboard input nor mouse clicks
produce any speech/braille output. There's an orca process still

Hi all,
with KMS being the default now for virtually all my systems, I have got a
problem when working on a console. The font size is too small. I have activated
the terminus font in the size 16x32 (the largest) and also decreased the
resolution from 19xx/10xx to 1024/768. Still the tty is 160

Hi all,
after the recent BRLTTY upgrade (in testing), the systemd unit for BRLTTY seems
broken. After BRLTTY was started, it only announces the usual greeting and stops
again. After the service has been stopped manually, BRLTTY can be started
without issues from the command line. I have attached

Version: 1.1.2
Severity: serious

Justification: breaks system for blind users [RC, stretch]
After an upgrade to the specified version, BRLTTY starts up with speech working
(brltty-espeak is using libao -> libasoun2), but speech stops working after
roughly a minute.

Might be, but that doesn't apply for me on Debian testing. It would make sense
though.

libasound2 was already installed, do you have any idea why the symbols don't
show up?

What exactly is broken? Could you please describe the steps you've taken and
what the outcome was? Then we can try to find a solution.
Cheers

I have no more ideas, especially because I'm not a VM user myself.
Could you write the image to a USB flash drive and start the installation from
there? You don't need to do the full install (to

Have you actually enabled pass-through for your braille device? It could be that
the VM doesn't know about your device.

Hi
Every now and then, BRLTTY crashes. It looks as if there is an issue while
emitting speech using espeak-ng. I'm not sure whether the issue is actually in
BRLTTY or espeak-ng, but I couldn't encounter any issues while using
