Do you plan a new release with this patch?
I was hoping someone would test the change with dash first. The patch
is now in Subversion.
Is svn.sf.net down?
Probably just a temporary issue with SourceForge, should work fine now.

Do you get this in all terminals? I just recently got a dual-core
box, and I can reproduce this in gnome-terminal but not xterm. That

I almost always run aptitude in KDE's konsole.

Hi!
It might be due to (snippet from Makefile):
# When the portmapper cannot find any local interfaces (it will complain
# to the syslog daemon) your system probably has variable-length socket
# address structures (struct sockaddr has a sa_len component; examples:
# AIX 4.1 and 4.4BSD).
Hello,
this bug also occurs on my system (lenny) using php5-cli 5.2.0-10 with
php5-pgsql and php5-curl installed.
To reproduce, simply create a php file test.php
#!/usr/bin/php
?php
$db = pg_connect(host=localhost dbname=xyz user=xyz password=xyz);
?
# php ./test.php
Segmentation fault.

I submitted this patch to bug #301563 but it hasn't been applied yet. That
may not have been the correct place to submit the bug as it was against an
older package (python2.3-gdchart2).
Anyways, the patch is attached.
