The patch was actually patching a generated source code snippet, instead
of patching the source code generator, but it was fine otherwise, thanks
for it.
It has been applied upstream and will be part of the next gmetadom

Yep, that was the case, here is a link to the corresponding
vote for INRIA to include it :-)
Well, nobody replied to the bug report, so I don't think pinging there
will be useful. The only other possible step is to raise the problem on
the caml mailing list, what do you think?

superseded by ocaml-sqlite3 and we (Debian OCaml Maintainers) are no
longer willing to support it in future releases of ocaml.
