apt_preferences uses "release unstable" pins in an example, but only
documents "release 9", despite "release $foo" being supported for
codename, archive, and version pins (it's what APT::Default-Release
uses). We should fix that in 1.7.

I suggest we upload the fix soon. This problem is blocking tons of
other packages from building, especially it blocks the kdeframeworks
5.44 transition at halfway and will put KDE users under an unstable
state.

Hi Josh,
Since unixODBC 2.3.6 was released this week, I'll look into preparing an NMU

There were a large number of changes in 2.3.5, while 2.3.6 has the nice

It seems to be a problem with emoji in general. I had same crash but
with different symbol (⏱ U+23F1). I had package "fonts-noto-color-emoji"
installed, removing it caused crashes to stop. Probably it's possible to
make a fontconfig rule to make emacs not use that font.
Thanks Steve.

To work around the described problem it is sufficient to set
