I've just tried to track down the problem and find specific rules
interfering with CD burning process. As of the rules reacting on
/dev/sr0 change, there are at least two independent problem sources:
/sbin/blkid (called by udev) and devkit-part-disk-id from
devicekit-disks.

for the package-depends-on-hardcoded-libc tag, a check is performed on
'glibc', which is 'eglibc' now, resulting in false positives. The
attached patch should fix this, although I didn't actually check
eglibc's binaries afterwards.
Turns out I was making things more complicated than I thought.
I just replaced dual_devices.dpatch with the one provided, and it works!
Thank you very much! Now I just have to remember how I had it all
configured before.

There are several places where hellanzb uses string comparison against
twisted.copyright.version as a test for conditional module imports (to
provide backward compatibility for some very old versions of Twisted I
suspect).

Yes, we need more info, there is no information we can use in your bug report.
We need at least: Example non-working script, expected output of the
script, real output of the script, how do you run the script, etc.,
strace could also give us some hints.
