Subject: iceweasel: fails to keep cookie settings.
Package: iceweasel
Version: 3.0.1-1
Severity: normal
icweasel fails to keep cookie settings. - when one selects only keep
cookies until you close iceweael, it seems to reset the cookie
expiration option to when they expire. This is a privacy risk
on libcompizconfig0 somewhere
(compiz-core ?, compiz-plugins ?)
Agreed. Installing libcompizconfig0 corrected the segfault.

Package: gcc-4.2
Version: 4.2.4-3
Severity: important
firefox-3.0.3 builds from the mozilla.org source tree using
gcc/g++-4.2.4 with optimization enabled result in an executable that
segfaults on invocation. Adding ac_add_options --disable-optimize
to the .mozconfig file and rebuilding produces
Package: binutils
Version: 2.18.1~cvs20080103-7
Severity: important
Attempts to build firefox-3.0.3 from the mozilla.org source tree fail
with GPREL16 relocation errors on the Alpha at the point where libxul.so
is built. Adding -Wl,--no-relax to DSO_LDOPTS results in a successful
build. This
Package: libapache-mod-perl
Version: 1.29.0.4-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Perl 5.8 has been removed. libapache-mod-perl depends on it and is now
uninstallable.
Perl 5.10 is present but the version of mod_perl available is
incompatible with it. There are many
Package: adduser
Version: 3.102
Severity: important
The home directory that adduser creates does not properly inherit the
group name from its parent (when setgid is set).
ie:
In the adduser.conf file, I have DIR_MODE=2770, and the parent
directory in which the user's dir. is created is

my umask=007 in my rssh.conf.
my chroot jail is setup to offer ONLY SFTP;
when a user uploads a new file, instead of having mode=660, as one would
expect from this umask setting, it is set mode=640.
I have not fully explored the extent of this
Package: libpam-chroot
Version: 0.9-1
Severity: wishlist
I think a really nice feature would be to handle whole groups in the
conf file.
ie: I have a group of users that are rssh/chroot restricted to sftp
only; they are in the chroot group.
I would like to address all those users as a group.
Package: openssh-server
Version: 1:4.3p2-9etch2
Severity: important
I don't know where sftp-server is getting its umask from; but it's
certainly not the conf file.
I've seen MANY people talk about a wrapper work-around - this DOES NOT
WORK - at least not in a rssh/chroot environment. (log =
systems like myself will be
grateful for the change of behavior.
You would be surprised how much performance can change when adding
extra stat calls. Many filesystems such as networked filesystems are
extremely latency bound and those kinds of changes have a strong
negative impact upon them.

Filed upstream with those details / pidgin people are happy with the
information i gave them from a backtrace.
Package: bind9
Version: 1:9.4.2-10
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Because bind9 does not depend on libbind9, it will happily use an old
version of libbind9 (in my case, libbind9-9.4.1-1+b1 with bind
9.4.2-10).
This causes a segfault after running for some time with a
