i've tested MANY types of audio and video formats with the built-in media
player that uses gstreamer (extend it with all the plugins i could) and all

it appears i have a similar issue, i'm trying to open a link to a document (in
this case, ms doc file but in general any other oo document) with Hebrew
characters as filename and i'm getting the same dialog as described in this
bug report. first i thought it's Opera's bug then i filed a report

on OO version 2.2.1, the crash recovery dialog reports OO to be of version
2.0.3 while recovering the crashed files.

i no longer have this laptop, so i can't issue any more test with this bug.
so let's close it down
( the workaround suggestions in this thread were good enough for me to make
the laptop work :-)

after adding ehci_hcd and usbhid
to UNLOAD_MODULES_BEFORE_SUSPEND2DISK in /etc/powersave/sleep.
issue was solved :-)
one little thing...
after resume, wireless internet is not working, although it seems to be
running as reported by... ifconfig eth2, iwlist eth2 scan, route, iwconfig
eth2. all
don't know what update solved it, but now it's gone :-)
