support for suspend and hibernate and have *not* installed the hibernate

For what it's worth, I have a new(ish) machine that is running the stock
kernel 2.6.24 in testing and cannot manage its clock without the
--directisa workaround (complains about /dev/rtc problems).

Hi,
I'm currently using the stock 2.6.24 kernel (in testing) and this has
been fixed; powertop also stops suggesting this now as a result of
changes that you guys have made along the way.
Anyhow, thank you, and I suggest you close this bug report now.
