Someone just pointed me to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=910201 today, requesting the removal of vmdebootstrap. I see this is still a dependency for live-wrapper in both stretch and buster. I hope those of you more tuned into development world (than I) already know about
