Hi,
Finally got around to test the updated image on my Ultra 10 now.
A few things to note:
- The new GRUB-based CD boot works well. Kudos!
- Mirror listing during install and automatic sources.list config afterwards
is still broken, requiring manual changes according to

Hi,
I don't know for this machine.
On my V880, there was a second loop going to the disk backplane. I
unplugged it, and everything started working.
I know this is pretty circumstantial, but don't know if i can do more for
you.
I did exchange some emails with the guy that wrote the driver to try

I downloaded
https://oss.oracle.com/linux-sparc/isos/linux-sparc-1.0-DVD.iso
It was made by genisoimage in 2015 and has a Sun disk label like
debian-10.0-sparc64-grub-NETINST-1.iso of 27 Apr 2019.
Have a nice day :)

I have not tried on my V880 but I got similar trouble on V480.
But where is

Yes, and most homes have that plug behind the stove in the kitchen and for the
dryer in the laundry room. It is easy to wire up another like this in the
contact breaker panel. Cheers -- Rick

Given that it works on a sun4u then I am guessing that a Sunblade 2000
should be perfect for this sort of thing. I know that I have one of
those in the warehouse. However I think they need FCAL disks. Anyways I
will give that a look see and also I hope serial console works out of
the box.

It can't be that that much of an issue, because OpenBSD runs on these
machines (according to [4] and my tests on serveral PRIMEPOWER 250s).
And for the Linux kernel you can actually see some Linux kernel messages
before the machine experiences a red state exception...
