I have a problem with the mentioned combination. When i run pon to
establish a ppp-connection pppd immediately exits with the error message
tcgetatt (5)
During booting it says ppp Version 2.2.0. But i installed ppp2.3.5. Now,
do i need to upgrade my kernel ? I´ve seen some patches in var.

1) How can I check my connection status?
Use the 'plog' command. If the connection has failed, you'll see something
