during boot time and see if the CD is installed as
Primary/Secondary Master/Slave. These are the device

on a Debian system. I have the current 1.3.1 Apache on the server at the
moment but would like to upgrade to 1.3.3 + this new module.

I downloaded xmatrox-2.2-0.i386.rpm from XSuSE, converted it to
debian package with alien and unpacked xsuseconfig. Then I ran
xf86config but it dies wirh can't load libc5.so.m (same with startx).

You can use different timeouts for top level mount directories
(mountpoint in auto.master(5)). You put options in the /etc/auto.master
I read the manpage but I did not see that :-(

I want to be able to start xdm from my user account, instead of from
root. I have tried changing permissions and ownership, but neither of
these works and have checked permissions in higher level directories to
which I have access, but nothing seems wrong. Any idea what is going on
here?
