In my experience, the package 'wpa_supplicant' still doesn't come with the
install image. Without it I can't connect to my wireless router. You need to
install it manually, e.g. 'sudo apt-get install wpa_supplicant'.

have purged
bzip2 and reinstalled, but it still happens. This is my
second install with this problem, so I'm a bit worried.
The same thing just happened to /bin/gzip. It seems to

menu.lst according to above, the computer still tries to decrypt my
root filesystem from sda instead of from sdb. I guess the initrd file
that comes with Etch needs editing, correct? But what to edit and how?
I've never changed any initrd file before.
