Nicht wenn Du die Treiber fest einkompilierst. Alternativ soll es auch
gehen wenn Du hotplug installierst, aber da fehlt mit die Erfahrung.

bei der linux CD vom letzten Linuxtag 2.4.20 ist extra ein Treiber für
die PCMCIA-Version der genannten Netzkarte vorhanden. Diesen suche ich
für 2.6.6 vergeblich und obwohl EEPro100 als Treiber geladen ist, die
Karte erkannt wird, wird kein Netz erreicht.
Wer kann da helfen?
