I've problems getting the HP Colorado 8GB IDE tapestreamer to work.
Using ide-tape, i get I/O errors after +/- 5000 blocks writing,
reading gives a I/O error too, it doesnt' read any blocks. mt status
doesn't work either.
I use the /dev/(n)ht0 devices.
Ide-scsi seems to work ok, mt status
The Card is a DLINK 530TX (not the TX+)
but the problem is that it has the newer via chipset (3065)
so i need the updated via-rhine module..

Yes. I have one. Driver support is not reliable in potato. If you
fiddle with bringing up and down interfaces and restarting pcmcia, you
can occasionally get it to work. The documentation says that support
for this card is experimental. From what I hear, the card will be much
better
I think you need to ask debian-user about the packages named uqwk and
multimail or something like that.
Having never used either I can't help, but many many years ago I used a QWK
reader to read usenet news.

From memory I think I had to add a -I/usr/src/linux/include to the compile
command. /usr/src/linux is where the kernel sources are on my machine.
