Two unrelated problems.
First, exim is acting a bit weird on me. I installed Debian from the
stable tree last week via ftp. During the initial setup I chose exim
instead of smail as my MTA ... perhaps this wasn't the way to do it. I
was trying to avoid dpkg from the command line. At any rate,
I'm at my wits end trying to find refresh rate specs for an IBM 6317 and
a Compaq 171. The company web sites are no help. Does anyone know of
some spec collections on the Internet??
TIA

Just pulled a Prosignia 200 out of the box - trying to configure it as a

Everything works fine except I can't figure out which driver to use for

How on earth is this supposed to work? I have been setting up a mirror.
The debian directory is /ftp/pub/linux/debian, the non-US directory is

Ok, here's the deal. We have a very large RAID array for a news spool.
However, I'm wondering what is/is not sane as far as size ... for
example, if I make a 50 gig partition will I be able to fsck it?? (fwiw,
BSDI won't fsck it - it says it can't allocate 1300 bytes for a
statemap ...)

Well,
I seem to recall that there used to be a cfinger package. Now, when I
