Hovercraft packaging [1] status report update:
solved issues:
1) python3-watchdog is in NEW
2) modules are private now
deps remaining RFS:
3) svg.path [2]
4) manuel [3] (could be spared when the tests are disabled)
open issues:
5) python-logo-master-v3-TM.png might be non DFSG-compliant
I've asked once more, this time on debian-legal and the Python logo
distribution remains an issue [1].
Therefore, I've further worked the package to build with a DFSG
tarball [2]. The package is ready to go into RFS that way with
disabled tests for now. I'm going to ask upstream if he could use
I'm going for that.

Great, thanks!
You will need to package a few reverse dependencies first. Also please
retitle the bug into an ITP if you take care
The package has been Gitized [1] on Collab-Maint since there is no
git.debian.org/git/python-apps so far (could be transfered easily, then)
There has been some improvements in the meanwhile, mainly on
deb/copyright, please see the commits.
There are two open issues think could be an issue for
The status of Hovercraft has improved,
1) the python3-watchdog package is available, close
to get into Unstable [1]
2) python3-svg.path is available [2], currently RFS [3]
3) python3-manuel is also available [4], currently RFS [5]
and finally,
4) the initial Hovercraft package is at Mentors,
I've lost interest in this package and therefore putting it RFP
and going to delete it from mentors.
Anyway, the initial packaging remains at the group repo [1] and could be
taken up be someone else for maintenance. I think this could be
a beginner's project for people interested in getting up
list in CC (done hereby).
Please specify in what task(s) you think this package is appropriate.
Kind regards and thanks for maintaining this package
Andreas.

I've checked through the upstream and found that is more
complicated than I thought (no implications), and I don't
have enough time now to bring this into Debian.
If interested, the developer should be contacted because
the already created an unofficial Debian package [1].

I've lost the interest in this package. If somebody else wants to pick
up the preparatory works you're welcome (but please mention me in
deb/copyright).
Please see the (therefore closed) RFS [1] for latest status info of this
and the preliminary packages.
