We run a 25 ton mini-split in our computer room. It's the type where
the fans are in the upper part of the wall, and all the guts are
outside. Does a very good job. Raised flooring wasn't an option sadly.

The Declude staff let me know that v3 won't work on WinNT, so I think I
can't delay the inevitable any longer.
Just for fun, has anyone tried the v3 beta with IMail6 on WinNT?

John,
I have tried the Beta on NT4 it seemed to run ok the service etc worked. I
did not see any inherent problems, but then again this was not a detailed
test but rather I just wanted to see if it would run and it did.

Can the beta testers with dual-CPU machines confirm that the latest Beta
Built is now running without creating the previously reported backlog
problems?

Declude 3.0.4 Beta Notes
1.) Installation – Service installed with no issue. Proc and work
directory were created.
2.) Service stability – Service was very stable. Did not stop
unexpectantly. Service was stopped and restarted multiple times. No files
were left stranded in the work directory.
Hi Darrell - thanks for reporting back.
Okay, so my dual-processor system is still not compatible with the beta.
(I did not beta-test, since I don't have a single-processor machine.)

David,
Can you go over how you see them helping and what the positive benefit would
be in tweaking those values? For example: by setting the WAITBETWEENTHREADS
to 1 second it will help by .

Different systems / configuration respond differently to these settings.
In particular they to fine tune through-put with CPU utilization.
1. SLOW server that is heavily loaded
You may want to try to increase WAITBETWEENTHREADS and lower THREADS.
2. FAST server
Use the THREADS and
David, too clarify, is that THREAD or THREADS? Originally it was THREAD.

John,
It has always been THREADS
From the Beta page:
Performance
1. Create a file in your Declude folder called declude.cfg
2. Add the following directive THREADS 5
3. The default is 5 threads
4. This value can be adjusted to allow more threads to run

Thank you David - will let you know if I see any issues!
