Has anyone tried to build an interface for JunkMail that allows users or
domains to set their own junk mail settings? The Postini interfaces seems
easy enough and there should be a way to tranlate that to JunkMail.
Just a thought.

I've been playing with sniffer a bit, and one thing I have noticed is that
it will catch many adult emails that do not fail any other declude tests and
that have been getting through my current setup. The problem is that if I
want to catch them, I have rely only on sniffer and put sniffer at a wei

Hi John, I am pretty sure you can be assured of that. We deal with a lot of
small ISPs and hosting companies now and always try to keep value high and
expense low.

We weight sniffer as a 12 and block at 15. This works very well for us.

As far as people with misconfigured mail servers... That will NEVER

I'd also be interested. Porn spam is quite a
problem . . when a little old lady uses her email just to keep in touch with the

Need to ask. Will this be a "shareware" or paid add-on?

What is it exactly that you do? A Weight of 7 or 17? I wish I had the
manpower to sift through all the messages.
Hopefully as SPAM blocking becomes more common, people with misconfigured
mail servers will get them fixed so whitelists are not necessary.

Trent,
That is exactly what we do... But we don't delete weight20, we route it to

If you are interested in a Declude 'external test' for adult oriented
material, we will be releasing a product for Declude/iMail and other MTAs soon
(CYBERsitter NoXMail). We adapted the content recognition engine from our
product CYBERsitter, and it is extremely accurate and highly configurable.
So, after seeing the
last 2 months that message sniffer is around 90% accurate, what confidence has
everyone put in it? We offer our clients 2 levels of SPAM blocking.
