Hi;
Just to add my 2 cents to this discussion.
My experience is similar to others with these two but I again think they
have their place as a factor in combo filters.
This is how we use these two.

Thanks,

NM, they sent me a manual install in a zip. :)

Hi Kami,
I like the way you've named your tests. It's
also good to know that others have already done similar Negative weighting for
the larger ISPs while keeping some of these marginal tests.
I had even thought about turning it into an

Ugh... I just saw a Challenge-Response email from

I really enjoyed the Earthlink Challenge-Response
when my own e-mail address was forged by some spammers a couple of months ago.
I'd get about a dozen Challenge-Responses a day out of Earthlink.

Andy,
I also assume that they could also generate both a D and Q file and
then just give it back to the SMTP process (IMail specific but likely
also possible in SmarterMail). I would definitely approve of the
change, and it is the right thing to do, but I don't think that this

Andy,
BLAT is great for scripting, but I don't think that you want to create
such a dependency within Declude, and I could see this causing issues
on some systems since this would be handled outside of the standard
process. Since they already have a mail server to work with, I
the path is correct, the file name is correct, tried rebooting, still same
error. Even went as far as renaming the test and the file and the adjusting
the path accordingly.. same results.

Hi,
I just started using junkmail and was wondering how people used it.
I would like to know if both imail's antispam and junkmail are used together
or if it is better to turn off imail and just tweak junkmail?
Seems like using junkmail only would make maintenance easier, but maybe
imail has

Personally, I have turned off Imail's anti-spam. There really is not
anything there that Declude can't do or doesnt do better. I know some folks
have a combination of both, but after looking over what Imail offers I did
not see any added benefit to running it.

Thanks for all the input.
I'll probably shut down Imail and tweak JM. Will look into the other programs
