actually, the save icon in the top toolbar should be enough, don't you
think? It's greyed out if there's nothing to save and makes the
indicator superfluous.

1) During the last IRC meeting we decided that I'd do the tentative
design for both whiteboards, which combines the proposals and will
later be used during the development. I think Mirek is working on the
template picker.

Nice to have some input from such a big user group.
I agree, themes/styles/color, font schemes are really useful. I think
the way MS Office displays these is very convenient, but we currently
lack the option to style tables.
